Embrace the tempting combination of contemporary Hawaiian cuisine served in a unique Hawaiian setting. Thatched-roof bungalows float above a koi-filled lagoon at the base of a waterfall to create romantic ambiance. Inspired by local ingredients and the rich culinary traditions of Hawaii.

Had a wonderful and delicious dinner here. A little bit of a walk for us old folks (age 72), but was well worth it. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The view of the ocean while dining was an added delight. Ocean views while dining...More

It shouldn't be surprising that Tidepools is expensive - it is after all a signature restaurant the floats in a fishpond in the middle of the Grand Hyatt in Poipu, so you should already have that expectation walking in. Main courses are $42 and up....More

We tried to get a last minute/walk-in Tidepools reservation for dinner but ended up sitting in the bar which wasn’t a bad thing. We tried the Tahitian Ceviche appetizer and found it to be just meh. Our server was very happy to replace it with...More

Went for dinner - got a great table by the window to enjoy the gorgeous views. Food was delicious! I got the swordfish special and basically licked the plate. They brought out a dessert on the house for my birthday, which was very sweet, but...More

The food and setting are hard to beat at Tidepools. Prices are high but great for a special occasion. Our 2 servers, one in the lounge and one in the restaurant, although pleasant, were not as knowledgeable and well trained as we expect in a...More

The ambiance improves after dark. I loved the GHK garden greens with blackened pecans, goat cheese, carrot, cucumber, tomato, orange, delicious papaya vinegrette (it's sweet; I don't usually like salad dressings). Tidepools restaurant is on the grounds of the Grand Hyatt resort in Poipu, and...More
