Local saloon style pub, great for a drink. A good mix of locals & tourists, and a genuine pub. If you like a cold beer, drop by.

Great pizza and you can't beat the views just a short walk outside! We took ours to go and ate it on the beach enjoying beautiful sand and surf. Very friendly and nice bartender.

The Nawiliwili Tavern is – to put a not too fine point on it – a quintessential dive bar: pool, karaoke, and the occasional drunk being tossed out (at least on one of the two nights I went there). For many of us that’s a...lot of fun, and a good way to meet locals – it’s possibly the only place around open after 10pm and the crowd seemed easily ¾ local – but if the resort bar is more your style it may not be the place for you. That said, I met some cool kama’aina as well as a lovely woman from Australia who could actually sing, unlike most of us. Came back to play pool (badly) the next night and had a great time both evenings. Hitch, one of the bartenders, is a sweetheart but she and the others can definitely rule with an iron fist if necessary! Did not have food myself but was told it was decent bar food. Order at the bar, which is also customary at taverns where I'm from so not a big deal. For what it is, it’s worth stopping in for a drink or two and some people watching.More

this is the place for a late night bar scene. it can get crazy when the cruise ship is in town, but even when there is not one, it is the locals after hours for work hang out. sing some karaoke, and have drinks with...a smile on your face. very funMore

We were staying next door at the Marriott and this pub/grill was referred to us for their pizza. The pizza is great and has a nice thin crust.

My party went to the tavern 2 days while visiting Kauai. The first day went pretty well, but there is no waitress in the tavern. You have to order all food and beverages from the bar. That wasn't too big of an issue for us,...but just so you know. We had the pizza and the chicken wings and they were good. However, the second day was extremely awful. The menu at the tavern is very limited and they don't serve anything but appetizers (including wings) and pizza. So, my wife went next door to get a burger. She came back and we had already put in our order for food and drinks with the bartender. The bartender delivered our food about 5 minutes after my wife returned with her burger. When the bartender delivered the first batch of appetizers, she told my wife that she can't eat that burger here, and said it in an extremely rude manner. I was instantly annoyed because we ordered at least $60 worth of drinks and food at that point. I told the bartender that we ordered a lot of food from you and that my wife wasn't interested in the appetizers or pizza. The bartender said "I don't care, she still can't eat that in here, and you guys only ordered appetizers anyway". I wanted to tell her how stupid she is because that is the only thing that was offered on the menu. But, I was nice and told her "Fine, whatever". So, I left a $.05 tip for her and the other guy in my party didn't leave anything. Also, we find it very peculiar that my friend’s credit card was used online to make purchases from several stores a day after our trip to the tavern. Luckily, I paid with cash. That bartender needs a new job, and I don’t recommend anyone visiting that tavern because of her.More

Had a couple of beers with our pizza. Pizza was okay, but I am not a fan of pouring the BBQ sauce after cooking the pizza.
