While visiting Kauai, we ate here twice for breakfast. The restaurant is fairly large and we did not have a problem finding a booth. The first time we ate here, we tried an omelette and a small Oxtail Soup. The omelette was good, nothing really...More

We read about this local restaurant in the New York Times article 36 hours in Kauai. It was amazing. It's not much to look at outside but it's the real deal, a local's place which also welcomes tourists We all had the banana macadamia nut...More

Diner food with a local flair. Where else can you get a burger served on rice with gravy. It is a good classic breakfast stop. The staff is friendly, a crowded local spot.

This place is not about gorgeous dining on Beyonce. It’s an open floor plan with tables and tasty food prepared for you to enjoy. You know you’re with the locals when you walk into this restaurant. We love coming for breakfast and so many items...More

Get there before 2:00pm because it closes, don't judge it on the exterior appearance. The food was fantastic as was the service and don't leave without purchasing some cookies!!

After a grueling 24 + hours of travel, this place was exactly what we needed. Fast service, great big portions, coffee that seemingly never ended, it was divine. They have wonderful pancakes, omelets, etc. Also fantastic local favorite; in fact, while there were a few...More

Discovered this place asking a local woman a good local place for breakfast. ALL were locals except 2 or 3 tables. Very good breakfast, and quick, clean service. Diner type food, and very typical...... we should have gone back for some of our other meals....More

I tried the fisherman platter, I believe it was called. Broiled fish, fried prawns, macaroni salad, white rice and Cole slaw. Not much vegetables on their plates. Filling, not high quality.

They're open from 6:30 to about 2pm for there's always a line but they're pretty fast.

I know they do a lot of stuff with macadamia nuts. You might want to call them directly to ask.

There are fruit plates, lots of rice dishes, they are a small bakery too, I believe. I'd call them and ask. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about what was in different dishes.
