We began our latest trip to Kauai by having breakfast at Ono's, which is kind of a tradition for us. We don't go there for the atmosphere -- it is kind of funky, but comfortable and lots of noise from trucks on Kuhio Highway. But...More
We have been going to Kauai for 14 years now and I think this is the best breakfast on the east shore. Great pancakes and the fried rice is spot on. Of course, your in Hawaii so you have to have some fried Spam.
On our January 2019 trip to Kauai we sent to this restaurant for breakfast. Pretty much everything is ala carte. I ordered the omelette which came with hash browns but toast or any other sides came at an extra cost. Coffee was close to 3.00...More
Really good corned beef omelette. To be clear, the corn beef did not come out of a can. Also had a really good papaya. Pancakes looked great and we will try them next time. I don’t think you can miss here.

Forgot about the second question. I cannot say for absolute certain ( I have only been going there since 1996), but I think that there was a menu item called deuces wild, which was 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 bacon or sausage. It is not on the menu as of this morning ( 30 Sept 16), but if I get back there before we leave I will ask!
