My Aunty took me here, because it was one of Grandpa's favorite restaurant. It's one of the only restaurants that I've been to near Kapaa that's still open after COVID. They had a lot of different types of donburi (stuff on rice). I got Chicken...Katsu and noodles on rice, because ... that's 3 of the 4 food groups in Hawaii (rice, noodles/pasta, bread/breading ... it was only missing potatoes). NOTE: This is a joke, but it's funny because it's true. The katsu sauce was a little more like gravy, but it was still good. Parking was easy, because it's in a strip mall. We had a small wait for an open table, but turnover was pretty fast.More

A small, tucked in little Deli serving home cooked meals in portions you'll be stuffed with! So much good food, great prices, and easy to order online and pickup. Everyone was so friendly and some true "home" cooking! Try the Mix plate for variety, or...the delicious Chicken Cutlet with Gravy.More

Had quite a few great breakfasts here during our week in Kauai. The omelets were very filling and the hash brown we great. You can tell the food is good because many locals at here. Arigatou!

Hole in the wall place that we didn’t expect to be this good....but we read a ton of reviews and they were right on! Had the corned beef hash for breakfast, but never this way before. Deep fried croquettes topped with brown sauce. Unexpectedly delish....Ordered it with poached eggs for breakfast today and added a TON of their chili’s in water sauce. Perfect!More

I was the only non-local in the place - good service - wide selection on the menu - excellent pricing. I went mainly to try to the "Gotterburg Sausage" breakfast (think it's actually (Gotheburg - you CAN buy it at Foodland next door but they...come in a HUGE size only) . Even though I've been coming to Kauai regularly since '71, I'd never heard much about it nor had I eaten it... much better than the tourist popular Portuguese sausage! Not as greasy and it has great flavor. I would certainly go back and try some other dishes if I had more time.More

Wonderful Spinach and Feta Omelet with fresh ingredients; very good Oatmeal and the service was good, even though they were Super Busy. Mostly locals, which is a really good sign.

We didn’t want to eat breakfast at our hotel which has expensive prices, so found Waipouli Restaurant. This is a local family run restaurant. Breakfast served all day, and it’s good! I ordered 2 eggs scrambled, Portuguese sausage, hashbrowns, coffee and a side of pancake....Large portions, prompt friendly service. A lot of visitors and also many locals and “regulars” dining here for breakfast, so you know it is good. Very attentive wait staff.More
