Nothing spectacular about this place, but food was good. We did take out. The woman waiting on us was friendly asking us where we had been and what else we had planned for the week. She also gave us ice water while we waited (It was a hot day!) We got Lo Mein and wontons. Lo Mein was good- not... More

Yummy tofu curry and duck soup. Very plentiful for two people. It had surprising herbs that I wouldn't add to a yellow curry, but it somehow worked! Maybe I'll try that next time I make it. Thanks for the tip.

Just had a quick lunch. Empty restaurant never a good sign. Noodles and vegetables. After I finished I thought I would have preferred a sandwich elsewhere. Go if you are desperate.

This was a good dine-out option with a vegan daughter. The food was good and hit the spot after a day at the beach. One slightly off thing was that I ordered a dish, and I did not find out that they did not have the necessary ingredients until the same time as the rest of my family was being served... More

Our family of seven stopped here for dinner - at first I was concerned that only one other table was occupied, never a good sign, but to my surprise this was a great dinner - everybody order something different and all was delicious. Generous portions that can easily be split for kids / even some teens. Spring rooks are also... More

Stopped for dinner and ordered saimin. It was the largest bowl of noodles I have ever seen. It was filled with fishcake, spam, green onions, pork, and half a hard boiled egg. couldn't come close to finishing it. Service was ok and friendly.

We went the day after Christmas and a server had called off. There was one server and she was trying to kick butt. A few of us had taken to redilling our own water. The serving was plentiful. I ordered fat noodles, my son ordered the skinny noodles. They swapped the two. Really not the end of the world. My... More

I have to begin with a quote from the previous reviewer! "Roadside shack appearance but they have a nice sit down dining area (with cloth napkins) behind the fruit stall." If that didn't capture your imagination on the first reading, maybe it will on the second. Kapaa is a 2 mile long bottleneck that can double your travel time from... More

Few places to open for lunch in Kapaa. Roadside shack appearance but they have a nice sit down dining area (with cloth napkins) behind the fruit stall. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the Saimin w Tofu which was quite flavorful! Definitely a great affordable lunch spot.

The Noodle House, easy to miss as you're rolling through Kapaa, is worth the stop for a well-priced, well- cooked lunch. The restaurant has been through a number of changes over the years and it's layout is slightly awkward with the high countered kitchen open and in the middle of the room, surrounded Asian furniture, but the food is good...
