The prime rib and crab buffet tasted fine but resulted in horrible uncontrollable results. To the hotel's credit, their housekeeping staff took care of things quickly. Being the only on-site restaurant at the Marriott Waikoloa you'd think they would try not to food poison the guests. Now we have to go off-site for meals.

Hawaii Calls is the Waikoloa Marriott's main restaurant, an open-air affair looking out across the property and the bay--a beautiful spot to dine. Included with our Costco Travel booking was a free breakfast buffet each day and a cash credit that could not be spent at the spa or shops so my daughter and I ate lots of meals there.... More

We had some delicious dinners here, and two awesome lunches. Located by the beautiful pool, overlooking the sunset by the ocean, is the Hawaii Calls restaurant of the Marriott hotel. We ate a la carte once, and had the crab and prime rib buffet once. Both times we ate food that was prepared with love and care, very tasty and... More

Marriott - can you please invest in some overhead door fans to keep the flies out? I'm not usually a fan of buffets but we stopped by this one just as it opened at 5pm as we wanted to grab dinner and watch the sunset. The buffet (prime rib and crab legs) was surprisingly better than we thought it would... More

Hawaii Calls is an open air restuarant with a nice menu with a variety of options. The salmon was excellent as well as the dessert menu. There is live music and it is a beautiful place to watch the sunset.

We had lunch and dinner here, while staying at the Marriott. For lunch, we ordered "a la carte", namely fish tacos and a club sandwich with crab and shrimps. We both liked what we ordered. For dinner, on the other hand, we went to the buffet, but it was a bit of a let down: we were expecting more fish.... More

We stayed in the Marriott and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast every morning. Open air. Staff was very accomodating. Bar food was excellent. We were hooked on papayas. Yummie!

Have stated at the Marriott hotel several times so we end up eating here frequently. Lunch is very good and prices are quite reasonable. Dinners are pretty expensive and quality is perfectly acceptable, just nothing super outstanding. This past year, we were quite disappointed in the service. Evidently, they no longer like to serve meals to guests sitting outside between... More

Our travel package included the cost of breakfast buffet, which was quite extensive, including cooked-to-order omelets other eggs, fresh tropical fruit, smoked salmon and beverages. We also had the Lobster Special (Only once a week?) at $29.99. The numerous local island birds that beg for food can be entertaining, if you have a vacation attitude.
