Very cute, quaint lodge with a nice little gift shop! Really enjoyed the experience as part of our tour. It was a great way to top off the day before visiting the volcano for night viewing!!

We stopped here for lunch, having run the Volcano Half Marathon. Beautiful room. Friendly, helpful staff. We witnessed a mishap at another table, where a drink got dropped and the glass broke. The staff were awesome and had it cleaned up in a heartbeat. Impressive...More

Best borscht I've ever had. Good seafood. Wonderful ambience and setting. Pricey. I've been twice - the second trip was ruined by a rowdy tour group.

My husband jokingly said no puka pants and shirt. Actually we just advise casual elegance (jeans Clean shirt ) a lot of our diners come off the trail so fancy is not required. But honestly we even see fur wraps sometimes

Description
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, located in the quiet village of Volcano, sits on 5 acres of gardens and gazebos and native forest. This hotel restaurant features a large fireplace, local art, koa tables, and is open nightly. Chef/owner Albert Jeyte blends flavors from his European background with farm, ranch and seafood products from Hawaii, the surrounding Pacific and elsewhere. Volcano Village is at 3700 feet elevation and evenings are often cool and misty. The historic fireplace welcomes guests with it's cheery fire. Home made soups and breads tease the appetite. Albert specializes in unusual game...venison, antelope, rabbit, duck. The biggest sellers are local fish dishes; ahi, ono, mahimahi and the exotic Tristan lobster. A large wine list complements the eclectic menu.
