The food here was fantastic. The night we were there, there was live music which was pleasant and not overpowering our conversation. The portions were plentiful.

Hard to beat. At least twenty plus main dishes on a steam tray line everyday. Lines sometimes out the door. But it moves quickly. Generous portions. Awesome Mushroom Chicken, Sweet and Sour Spareribs, and pretty much everything they serve. And then comes the price -...More
We stopped in the mall to pick up groceries and decided to grab a quick bite. Spot seemed popular with the locals. I had the spicy eggplant and chicken stir fry with fried rice, noodles and a pasta salad. Very reasonable prices, large portions and...More
Amazing variety of japanese, chinese, filipino and hawaiian food choices. Lots of good food at a low price. One of the most popular lunch places in town. Their sticky rice is always prefectly cooked and forms the basis of all their dishes. Their Bento's are...More
Looking for a cheap fast food place for a plate of local food, found Hiro's next to KTA Grocery. Outside seating. Quick, quick, quick.
I go to Hiro's at least twice a week. The Food is Da Bomb, the cost won't make you go broke but the attitude of the girls are awful. They don't smile, don't thank you and have no appreciation of you coming to their place...More
I'm not sure how my wife and I heard about this place, but we did, and gave it a try. We went there for a quick breakfast on the way out to Volcanoes NP. Not much to look at, but definitely a crowd. Seating is...More
This is a good, typical, "local-style" fast-food restaurant, WAY different than the fast-food on the mainland. Here you'll find a mix of cultures and cuisines. Try any of their plate lunches, they are all good. Portions are generous and staff is pleasant. Be prepared for...More
This place had yummy spam musubi, sweet potato tempura & nori fried chicken. Very inexpensive & convenient. This is not health food. Places like Hiro's are known for deep fried & high carb foods.
This is a hole in the wall of a shopping center but Guy (from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) would love it! Food was delicious and huge portions and very inexpensive. You either get it to go or eat on the picnic tables on the sidewalk....More
