I had trouble finding good restaurants with good vegan/vegetarian options while vacationing on the big island, but this restaurant hit the mark. I had the poke salad with the tofu substitute and was not disappointed. One of the better meals I had that week. Thank...More

I ate here for lunch a few days ago with my husband and the food was excellent! The location was also excellent! I recommended the Ono sandwich.

Cafe Pesto has a good variety of food and the prices are reasonable. The location is just in the old downtown and convenient to the local sites. Window tables are fun. Nighttime dining was as good as lunch.

Most recent trip to the restaurant was on a weekday prior to the big dinner rush. There were friends from the mainland and they wanted a "reasonably priced place for a nice early dinner". I immediately said "Cafe Pesto". I had the seared ahi salad...More
