Moon and Turtle has a menu that may not be for everyone's taste. Check online before you go. If you like what is presented, you will probably love this place. Food is served "family style" and sharing is strongly encouraged. Thus it is better to go with 4 people than just 2. I find their brussels sprouts to be my... More

Spent nine days touring Hawaii on business and this was the best restaurant we found. A friendly atmosphere and small eclectic menu, seemed to be Asian/Hawaiian fusion. Their home made smoked soy sauce was fantastic on ahi tuna sashimi.

Five of us went on a Girls' Nite out to celebrate my retirement.....the food was great! The menu consists of small and large plates... we opted for the small plates, ordered four different kinds (double for the mac & cheese).... everything was fresh and tasty... loved the ahi salad - fresh ahi sashimi with in a pool of dressing with... The menu is not to my taste, a small choice and I never seem to want anything they have....over fussy, and the drinks are bland

Looking for a break from the usual island fare? Then try this Pan-Asian eatery that is influenced by Japanese cuisine; but makes its own spin on sushi and various small plates. Very reasonable prices; with kind attentive service.

A chef pal told me we should absolutely dine here during my visit, and I am so glad we did on the final night of my Japan+Hawaii trip. This place puts the fusion in fusion, from the innovative cocktail menu to the daily-changing appetizers and main dishes with Hawaiian and Asian accents. I was very impressed by the unique spaetzle... More
