Like this place b/c the food is good and the atmosphere is quiet. Kind of a sanctuary from the noisy restaurants of Teton Village. Chicken Salad Sandwich was great, and the potato salad is excellent!!
We had high hopes since we're staying at the alpenhof. I had the weiner schnitzel. I thought it would be the signature dish of a Swiss themed hotel. It was tough and pretty bland. That's hard to do with veal. My wife's pork schnitzel was no better. The staff was fine and we sat outside with a beautiful view.
Family dropped in during a summer trip to Jackson Hole. It was fine...but not much more than just fine. We had cheese fondue as an appetizer for the four of us (ordered the serving for two). Ponied up extra for the vegetables. Was hoping for a nice variety of veggies to use in addition to the apples and bread provided....received... More

The restaurant wasn't busy but it was somewhat early so we went up for a table. There was some confusion in seating us (a gentleman started to seat us, went to check on a... More
My husband and I went here because a friend told us they had excellent bison. Unfortunately, ours was tough and chewy and way over cooked. The service was horrible and we didn't get one of the drinks we ordered. It was terribly disappointing and not a fun way to start my vacation.
Brought my two kids looking for places outside our lodge to eat. They had an ok selection for kids and a few meals I was interested in so we gave it a try. I started with the mushroom strudel. I was good but overwhelming for an appetizer. I continued with the chicken which was excellent. I did make a mistake... More
