One of the best steaks I have ever had! The green beans were so fresh and tasty as well. Great atmosphere, I would highly recommend!

Awesome cute slightly hidden diamond in the rough! Food is great, small inside seating and some outside. Family owned, good variety to their menu. Their fried dough tacos, and desserts are wonderful! They also make their own potato chips. A must stop if you are...in the area!More

We were passing through Lusk, Wyoming on road trip to the Black Hills & noticed a sign for coffee just a block off the main drag through town. Needed a break, so thought we would check it out - what a delightful surprise! The Chai...Latte we ordered was the best we've ever tasted & reasonably priced. The food menu looked interesting, but not that hungry - but will definitely try it out next trip. Had what I am sure is the cleanest rest room in town.More

A rather unusual location - inside a former garage/workshop. However, there is a reasonable choice of salads, sandwiches, and breakfasts. The food is excellent and reasonably priced - and everything is made/cooked to order. Also a great choice of drinks. A great stopping off point.

Although the menu was pretty limited, each thing we had was very nice. Atmosphere was quirky and fun. Latte was excellent and the line coffee drinker said her coffee was very good.

What a cute little place inside...a bit deceiving on the outside! Great atmosphere, great menu, nice service, good food! We enjoyed the turkey avocado blt salad...really yummy. And also a Sausage cheese egg croissant. I also enjoyed sipping their Vanilla steamer. It just hit the...spot!More

The atmosphere is clean and welcoming while matching its name perfectly in design. The food and coffee was delicious with quality ingredients used for both which you can taste in the freshness of every bite. I recommend the turkey avocado BLT. It’s worth the visit...during your drive. It has to be the best option in town. Don’t get too excited, the competition is slimMore

Rough and Refined is a quaint coffee shop. You can also get delicious salads, sandwiches, and pastries. One of the sandwiches was just selected as outstanding according to Facebook posts. They are only open until 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

I always stop at R n R on my way home from college. Their coffee, their customer service, and overall cleanliness is consistent. I usually get an almond milk latte and a breakfast burrito. I am vegetarian and they accommodate perfectly.

We spent the fall break weekend heading to South Dakota to check out Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Wind Cave and more. I love finding great local eats along the way. We planned on leaving Denver at 8:00 am to arrive in Lusk at noon. Just in...time for lunch. I picked Rough and Refined based on past reviews and was not disappointed. They were serving breakfast all day, which worked out great for me and my daughter. She had a bagel and cream cheese with potato chip toppings (her creation, not theirs). I had delicious meat lovers breakfast burrito - sausage, egg, cheddar, and salsa. Mmmm. The rest of the folks had sandwiches. They looked amazing. Turkey club with bacon - turkey was high quality with plenty of meat. My girlfriend was super excited to have a gluten-free option as well. The staff was super nice and helpful. Great experience. Worth the stop.More

This place is a converted gas station, chain hoist included holding up a table. No kidding. They serve a very limited breakfast and lunch menu. They have fancy coffee but you can't go in and buy a basic brewed cup of coffee. You have to...wait while they make a pour over. $$. We each had some sort of breakfast burrito which consisted of a fried egg and 2 pieces of sausage cut in half. Just ok. This is nothing special.More

If you're tired of greasy road food, Rough 'n' Refined in Lusk is the place for you. Salads (with fresh ingredients) and sandwiches that can compete with anything in Jackson, or Cheyenne. Full menu of coffee drinks. It also has an interesting decor'. It is...located in a converted Standard gas station of the classic variety from the 1950s - 60s. You might detect a little of the aroma of a garage, but the owner operator has done a fabulous job with the lighting and he included garage elements in the interior design. For the 20 minutes that me and my gfamily were there, we kept on finding new nifty design elements. Bravo & Bon Appatit.More
