The food was excellent. Prices very reasonable. Family run. They changed the name to Authentic Tijuana which was confusing. Definitely not a fancy place! Good chips and salsa while you are waiting for your food.

It's been a little while since I've been there, but I miss this restaurant. I find myself comparing all "authentic" Mexican fare to this place. It is fantastic. The service is casual as is the atmosphere. The food is made from scratch and with care which is apparent in every delicious bite.

Now called Los Nopalitos. Wow! It doesn't look like much but in a way that's adds to its authenticity. I just gave a lukewarm review to a place for its pizole which lacked any chile fire and my usual complaint with Chinese restaurants in the USA is they don't even try for the genuine spices or texture of Zhongguo but... This place is actually called Tijuana now. They have THE worst service I have ever had. Its actually the only restaurant I have left a 0% tip at and I am a waitress. You will not be greeted with a smile, u will be shown to your table and given chips and salsa which are great. We ordered waters to... More

Excellent Mole enchiladas (best seller) and Enchiladas Verde (perfect, not excessive sauce) Tortillas still pliable on the enchiladas, not falling apart on ANY of them.. REALLY good. Also got their Shrimp ceviche tostadas--(second best seller) and my husband said" Very delightful, crunchy, good amount of ceviche, avocado--great sauce. Three make a great meal" When you ask for hot sauce you... More

Jackson has a strong Latino community and part of their culture is a focus on tasty preparations of native Mexican dishes. Excellent salsa, homemade chips, tacos, burritos, all spiced up to deliver great flavors. Pork dishes are a specialty, and I love the scrambled eggs and chorizo with fresh tortillas. Friendly service, comfortable booths, and a good selection of beers,... More

This restaurant serves up authentic Mexican food and quite well, I might add! Cocktails are generous and owners are great.
