The food and the service was good. I've eaten here before and it has never disappointed me. This is a great place to have a piece of pie ala mode and a cup of coffee on your trip up to Jackson or Yellowstone.

I've been stopping at this little cafe since for about 40 years. It is ALWAYS busy and food is "just like Mom makes!" Wait staff is pleasant and food comes out quickly. Great place!!!

We always try to stop at the Cowboy Cafe any time we go through Dubois. The service is always great and so is the food. The daily soups are so good and make sure to save room for pie.

This was basically a. Good place for a quick lunch in a small town. Hamburgers and fries fit the bill.

I enjoy the cowboy. It is downhome, no thrills. The food is always good. They have great pie. My recent trip I had the hogburger. A hamburger, bacon and pulled pork. If you love pork, this is the meal for you. It had a bunch of fries on the plate.

I have eaten here 3 times. Two this last trip. They make the food fresh and served hot and plenty of it. Water is on the table and you fill your own glass. The breakfast was wonderful and they had omelets and skillets and biscuits and gravy and so on. The dinners are just as good. The people will talk... More

You have to try the mushrooms swiss chicken fried steak. Very tasty. Be sure and save room for the strawberry ruebarbe pie.

Biscuits and gravy are my favorite breakfast and this place does them right. Big fluffy biscuits covered in sausage gravy. Came with a side of hashbrowns and ham slice. All for a very reasonable price. Next time in town will try their lunch or supper menu
