Great steaks! Super portions with great sauce! Can be very busy in the summers time. Reservations are recommended. Ok for kids, but never saw any.

We stayed in Dubois while visiting Yellowstone for 2 nights. This is a quiet town with some charm. We arrived on a bad night, due to a water main break, so many stores and restaurants were closed. We chose Nostalgia Bistro due to reviews and because it was the only place open. It did not appear to be very busy,... More

Stopped in for lunch and were greeted by an eclectic decor with a long bar with tables to the side. There was also an upper dining room. A small menu was offered, and you had an average bar menu. The salad was okay, food was basic. There was no sushi, as was on the sign on the entrance, which I... More

Stopped here on our way north. The burgers we ordered were all cooked to medium. While this works for me, my family likes theirs well done. My suggestion to fellow travelers is to state how you would like your burger done, and for the servers, to ask when taking an order.

Jenga Strips - EPIC! - Thai Beef, Thai Chicken, dinner or salad - Excellent - One thing that is very extraordinary is the Calamari Strips (strips, not octopus rings)... It's a little higher priced than the Cowboy, but there is simply NO comparison of the food! For some spirits (smoke-free environment), a nice micro-brew and a meal that can't be... More

This place was recommended to us as the best place to eat in town by our motel attendant. We were not disappointed. The menu was not large, but the food we ordered was served warm and timely by a very friendly staff. The staff went out of their way to answer our questions and make recommendations. The wine and food... More

We had a split decision on this restaurant. One of us had the Trout Pasta, which was very good. The other choice was the 12 oz. Ribeye steak...only average at best. The service was polite and friendly. Clean and attractive surroundings. We would stop in, again.

"The Bistro", as it is known locally, is one of our favorites and is the most upscale place to eat in Dubois. The food is always great and the restaurant is elegant for our tiny town. Shannon does a great job of bringing diverse favors to the menu. Our favorite appetizer is the shrimp (sweet and a little spicy-yum!) and... More

I was absolutely shocked to find this quality of the food, service, and dining experience in a town like Dubois. I have only been there this one time but I would definitely go back. The salad was great, get the ginger dressing. The butter for the bread was SOFT AND NOT IN PACKETS! :)

We were a group of 56 travelers on a bus. The restaurant was suppose to be closed but opened for us. The manager basically did it all by himself. We were able to enjoy a very delicious lunch complete with chocolate chip cookies. We had a buffet and needed to get our own drinks, but it went fast and everyone... More
