We eat here fairly often. If you are looking for healthy options, go somewhere else. This is just good, down home, food. The portions are large, the prices are good, and the service is almost always great, but never bad. This is one of the few places the whole family can agree on to eat.

My husband ordered the western longhorn burger and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon and it was the best burger I've had in ages! Real quality beef burgers cooked to perfection, on a toasted bun with all the yummy toppings. Our kids had the French Toast. It was light and fluffy, made the right way with... More

We went in for lunch since the kids had a snow day, and my Brother In Law was in town. They do serve breakfast all day and the waitress was a bit loud but in a good natured way. The Pepsi's we had tasted watery. My kids had chicken strips and pancakes. Easy enough to do. The hubby had chicken... More

Old style diner with a full menu all of which sounds great! Breakfast was a bit slow but the place was PACKED, usually of which is a good sign. Newer waitress maybe was a little slow on the ball but the experienced gal with attitude of a local hometown joint made up for it! Great food and great price for... More

This is not a chain restaurant. There is no greeter at the door. Nor are there fancy commercials to tell you the latest specials. There IS a cook putting out fresh homemade food quickly and fairly cheaply. If you want legitimate local fare, hit up WG. If you want chain food, don't.

This seems like a place the locals like to eat at. One thing I liked is the train they have running around the periphery of the ceiling. They also have other train memorabilia. I had two blueberry pancakes and a side of bacon. The pancakes are huge and the blueberries on cooked inside the pancakes. The bacon was crisp and... More

Can't speak for the rest of the menu but the New York Strip was pan fried, no flavor, mostly fat and gristle. Watery vegetables, gravy, buns tasted like they came out of a can and or nuked. Nothing special. Disappointed overall. Sticky floors to boot. Ewww. Sorry.

The Western Grill is probably one of the best places in Casper to eat. Most of the wait staff are pretty good, a few better than others. Their breakfast specials during the week are very good and the meal is always good. Anything with the green chili is going to be good because it is the best in Casper. Some... More

Sunday morn at 8 AM. No wait for table but they could have had another waitress. She was swamped. A little pricey for breakfast especially if their "packaged meals" require some adjustment to satisfy you. I will be back if I wander thru Casper again.
