A must when you visit the Dells. An old school Dells tradition which i believe is still family owned. The kids still love it even though they're grown. Food is good, standard fair served family style. It's all about the atmosphere here.

They offer a Family Style all you can eat Breakfast. Our Trip to "The Dells" isn't complete with out a stop here on our way home. The donuts are the best!

Every time we are in the area, we have made it a tradition to eat breakfast here. It's one of our favorite breakfast eateries and hope to have many more years of coming back!

Our family ate breakfast at Paul Bunyan's while in the Dells. It was our favorite place to eat while we were there. The fresh donuts were delicious as was everything else. The service was good, too. We'd happily go back another time.

We ate here based on the recommendation of the info desk at the Wilderness Resort. It's kinda like a Cracker Barrel. Very unique. Food is served family style. Our table was basically like a picnic table with a bench on one side and 2 chairs on the other. There is no real ordering, except for drinks and the optional fruit.... More

Breakfast at the Cook Shanty, is the best of calorie-rich, filling, yummy creations. You get doughnuts, pancakes, sausages, ham, biscuits, and more - all delivered to your table on demand. The decor is enough to keep you engaged while you wait for the first batch of doughnuts to show up at your table. There isn't much to not like about... More

Very good breakfast food and plenty of it. All the staff seemed to be wearing plaid shirts. I felt like we were in a set for "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." Loved It! Must get your picture out front with Paul and Babe the Blue Ox, too.

Went for breakfast the same as I used to when I a kid. Food was good, service was good price was a bit steep for what you get. Set menu served family style, it's all you can eat but unless you are starving your probably not going to need more than they bring. Still a bit over priced but all... More

This puts me in the mind of Cracker Barrel when you first walk in, not sure which existed first. The food was so so, they did have turkey sausages which was a plus since we do not eat pork. The eggs tasted like they were powdered eggs, everything else was ok. The food was doable, but not a place that... More
