This place has a very limited menu but that's what makes it so good. Just give me some dogs. The owner was so much fun, he involved all the kids. It was definitely worth the stop. Don't miss it!

We stopped here to check out the caboose and stayed for dinner. The owner was a nice and entertaining guy. We enjoyed our hotdogs and the conversation about the origins of his Polish tacos and tamales.

Nice unique stop for a quick bite to eat. Menu is limited Hot Dogs, italian beef, polish sausage, fires, etc. Owner is real fun and is a nice stop if you are tired of the usual fast food stops. The place is inside a rail car an is neat, you have to eat outside on picnic tables. Overall neat place... More

The kids loved this place. A real caboose that serves hot dogs - pure heaven for a little boy. The owner served our food himself and let the kids operate the lights and sounds. It was only $20 for five of us to get dogs, sodas, and fries (paid less than we did for 2 sodas and some nachos at... More

I met the owner of Rail Dog yesterday in Wisconsin Dells! It's a Hot Dog stand located inside a caboose with outdoor seating. Tony's defiantly a character and the food is what you would expect from a Chicago guy who knows his dogs! If you are into off beat attractions with a huge fun factor and don't require a lot... More

I only get to the Dells every 4 years; however I always got to this place. On my most recent visit the owner sat down with me and my son and we had a great visit. If you like natural casing hot dogs this is the place for you.

neat train car that offers hot dogs, polish sausage, "polish" tacos (sliced meat wrapped in a small tortilla). owner was very nice, played all the neat train whistles for the kids, and came out and talked to us while we ate our lunch at one of the picnic tables.

Rail Dog is a family favorite of ours. The food is amazing and prices are fair. Cute kitschy converted caboose. We talk about this place a lot to friends and family. I hope it continues year after year, we've made it part of our family tradition!

Pretty good little joint off the main road if you are looking for hot dogs or polish sausage. The owner is extremely friendly and social - so socially awkward penguins might want to go elsewhere.
