We tried Chico's for the first time on a Friday Night. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. However, the fish fry and margarita's were just okay. But my husband did like the chimichanga.

I only ever get a chimmy. I like the atmoshere, service is OK, bartenders always very friendly though. I always go back whenever the craving for the world's best chimmy hits. I pre ordered via phone one time and they accepted but won't do again. They say that they don't do it because people could order and not show up.... More

The first thing I noticed was the musty smell when I walked in the door. The waitress was rude, bumping into us standing at the bar several times without saying excuse me. They take your order in the bar, then seat you when food is done. I have young children, I don't want to sit in a bar. They were... More

The food had no flavor. I ordered a fajito which baked to a crisp and there was nothing identifiable inside my husband had a combo taco fell apart. Beans which were mush overflowed the plate. Mexican rice was a soupy mess. Nobody should call this mexican food. While maybe prepared fresh everything shouldn't be baked to a crisp. Asking the... More

Off the beaten path, but way worth the trip. Our group of six had drinks and dinner at Chico's Supper Club last night and everyone was raving about their meals and most of us took home a "to-go box". I had the special drink of the day – a lemonade strawberry delight which was very delicious for a primarily non-drinker.... More

Food here is made in large portions, you wont leave hungry. The meat is cooked slow and fresh, never microwaved. It takes time to prepare fresh food that's why on the menu it states allow 30 minutes. The staff is friendly and drinks are delicious a must try.

Sadly I have tried Chico's more than once hoping that my first bad experience was only a fluke. I was wrong. The food is bland and lacks any inspiration. Although I am not in the kitchen to be observe how the food is prepared, my best bet is that most if not all the food on my plate was reheated... More

I lived in Wausau 16 yrs ago. I have been back several times just to go to Chico's The Chimmies are my favorite!! They have friendly staff behind the bar and although you usually only have 1 waitress in the dining room, she seems to keep up just fine. Make sure you are hungry! The servings are big and I... I had never heard of Chicos until some friend invited me out last week. Everything was wonderful! The service at the bar was friendly and fast with reasonable prices. They let us sit in the bar until our food was ready, and had it on the table when we sat down. The salad was delightful dark leafy lettuces and arugula,... More
