Heard about this Polish restaurant that specializes in traditional Polish food. My wife remembers when she was a child and her grandmother made these great food items. Well she bypassed both the traditional Polish and American entree so she could pick a meal exactly like she had at grandma's house. It included stuffed cabbage, red cabbage, potato pancakes, pierogis (... More

My husband loves pierogis, a favorite dish from his Polish upbringing. So we ordered 4 different kinds, pan fried, and all were very good. We especially like kapusta (kraut) pierogis, and theirs were tasty. We'll be back for Saturday night polka or Sunday buffet!

Don't let the lack of a crowd sway you, this restaurant is terrific! Our waiter Dylan was friendly and efficient, and gave our group great food and drink recommendations. There is an extensive variety of cocktails, beer and wine. The food was the best Polish food I have had! The dill pickle soup was great, I'm already craving it again.... More

This is a place for old school Polish food and we were very happy to find it. The food is excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is kind of like stopping by at grandmas place. The Polonez is a hidden gem. Enjoy!

Really well prepared meal. Come with an appetite and try as much as you're able to. All wwe had was excellent. I lived in Europe for a couple years, and it's been too long since I've eaten this kind of food.

From the outside, Polonez looks more like a community center than a restaurant, but don't be deceived, it has excellent Polish cuisine and a great atmosphere. My wife and I stopped in on a Friday. I had the fish fry while she went with Polish sausage. The food was fantastic, the service excellent, and the drinks very good. We'll definitely... More

Best service we have ever had here. Sunday brunch had a very nice variety. Reasonably priced and very clean. Authentic Polish recipes.

This family owned and operated restaurant has been part of the Milwaukee dining scene for decades. Their menu offers the best of Polish cuisine - and the shining stars in my book are the pierogis. Filled with Turkey & Cranberry Reduction, Reuben, Meat (Pork & Beef), Potato & Cheese, Sauerkraut & Mushroom, Sweet Cheese, or the Family Fruit Special they... More
