even tho the restaurant was crowded and obviously on a truck route, the service was pleasant, courteous and fast! The food was excellent with plenty to choose from. I look forward to visiting other Iron Skillets on our journeys

Nice fish fry. A little over cooked but good selection. Waitress could have acted more attentive and act more like she enjoyed her job.

Quick seating. Older restaurant which shows its age. Can order off menu or try buffet. Buffet was clean, orderly and plenty of it. Food was all good especially the fried chicken. Waitress was on the ball and served us well. Restrooms showed their use and could have used a little more care. Recommended for quick in and out.

Our waitress was very sweet and kept our coffee full. I ordered the club and it was good but there was a hair in my fries. Yuck. My husband ordered chili and it took a long time to receive it due we were told " the chili is frozen". I guess thawing it out and microwaving it is a long... More

My family and I happened to eat here on a weekend during supper time since we were staying at the cross-the-street Days Inn. I was a little worried, because truck stop food can go one of two ways. My huge family couldn't sit together since they couldn't put that many tables together, but really it wasn't that big of a... More

We went out of our way to stop in Wisconsin because my son wanted curds, he wasn't disappointed and I was glad because they were the best thing with out meal. The food was over priced and just okay. However, the server was very nice and although the buffet area was a mess the dining area seemed clean.

The food sits in a buffet in the middle of the restaurant ..it's cold, the bread is stale and the food is either under/over seasoned. The service was horrible ...we were put in a room in the back and forgotten about. We had to go and get a waitress to help us. We sat at a table that had a... More

We stopped for breakfast. We had 6 people in our party and it took over 40 minutes for our food and it was cold when we got it. They did make a gluten free omelet for one in our party so I that was nice but that was cold, too.

Breakfast is fast and offers a buffet. Food is just average here, nothing to write home about. Staff is nice and place seem pretty clean.

This was our third time at the iron skillet in about two years. It's a nice place to go when you don't know what you want for breakfast. They have a full salad bar along with most breakfast items you would expect on a buffet. The only reason they didn't get five stars is we ordered coffee and she never... More
