Good pasties and figgy hobbin; old-style cafe with stools at the counter; good service. Don't sit right by the door in the winter... It closes early, so if you're planning supper, arrive in time. The gyros is good too!

Very quaint diner. Excellent, friendly service. The food is good and the menu offers a few unique Cornish items. Nice variety on the menu.

If you come through the town, this is a place to stop - especially for Breakfast. Specials are $7.50 but are well worth it. With coffee so cheap, your bill is under $20 for two. Some places are becoming almost double that for Breakfast. Great place.

We were especially impressed with the quality of the soups at the Red Rooster. They were not overly salty as is the case with so many restaurants. We split a pasty, which was tasty with a nice flaky dough. Very friendly service.

We were curious about the Cornish specialty dish, the pasty. Delicious! We had a great lunch at the Rooster and enjoyed sampling some Cornish food favorites.

The motel owner recommended this for us. It was a small town old fashioned restaurant. They sold home made pastys too. We had a great breakfast, got us ready for the rest of our day.

I was very surprised at the nice selection of lunch items. The Pasties and the English deserts of Figgy Hobbin were wonderful and something different. I would not have expected it in a small town and a small diner setting. It took me a few moments to notice the English theme. My kids had the burger and fried chicken. I... More

My wife and I made a stop in Mineral Point while on vacation and decided to have breakfast at the Red Rooster Cafe. The cafe looked very clean and had a 60's look to it, which I like. The service was very good and our waitress was friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy, which were the best I've ever... More

I love the space, and the staff are all very friendly. Food is fine, but could be a bit more adventurous. Still, solid small town breakfast choice.
