had the raisen toast/egg/sausage with maple syrup sandwich and a cherry/almond "turnover". Delicious!

It is everything a wonderful dining experience should be. Food is exemplary and wide ranging. Delicious salads, soups and sandwiches....fanciful culinary touches abound. Ever present owners are attentive, warm and friendly, setting the standard for a gracious and jovial staff. The physical restaurant is clean, light and airy. The point is, you can't have a better culinary experience in SW... More
Great place to have coffee, lunch, or a beer. The menu has a nice selection. Cute, comfortable decor. It's a larger space but they have made cozy, intimate seating available as well as more open spaces to accomodate a larger group.
Every time you enter you become part of this restaurant. The wait staff is fantastic, prompt and extremely friendly. The food is spectacular, delicious and unique. If you're having a down day, just visit this place, sit for a while with a cup of coffee or chai and your spirits will be lifted. There is a comfy couch for lounging,... More
We stopped here on our road trip to Iowa city and were happy to find a place that serves unique food at a good price. About once a month, friends and I visit Gray Dog Deli for lunch and "gossip" session. The food there is always fresh, unique and great tasting. The coffee is always fresh, and just an overall nice friendly place to visit. Service is wonderful and pleasant surroundings. If you want to sit outside and "people watch" during the spring, summer and... More
Pretty typical lunch offerings in a bright, airy space. Also a decent option for breakfast, although I don't particularly like the coffee there.
We began with a lunch on Saturday, had coffee there in the afternoon at their outdoor tables in the welcomed warm sunshine, and returned Sunday for our last meal in town. Need I say more?
This is an artisan deli with good quality ingredients and fresh eats. I had a yummy sandwich on toasty fresh bread. It was the best thing I ate in Mineral Point all week.
