Walked in around 7:00 on a Friday evening. Upon entering, the bartender saw me and said “you made it, want a free beer.” The answer was obvious, but I was impressed with the friendliness. My wife and I grabbed a high top and were promptly...More

The 'hall' is small. The beer was excellent. I expected lively german atmosphere, got none of it on a Friday lunch time. Pump in some German music... or I would guess that the staff doesn't want to hear more German music so it is off...More

We were tempted to try this restaurant by the sign out front which said "Free Lunch with Beer". They were offering brats or hot dogs from Usingers (across the street) on a roll with any beer purchase. We were not disappointed! The beer was delicious...More

The food, beer and atmosphere is good here. We enjoyed our time, but don't expect a a quiet dinner. Small place so the sound really can get loud, but fun place.

Very reasonable prices, great german beer, great pretzels and sausages. Basic Americanized german fare but high bang for the buck.

Stopped here while the St. Patrick's day parade was going on. Had 2 different German beers and a Reuben and Knackwust. All was good and the waitress was friendly!

No reservations are accepted that I've ever heard of. Not sure how far from the Hilton... A quick Google should clear that up! He should be able to get around just fine with a little assistance Enjoy the food and beer... More
