We visited for Dinner after seeing it's high rating here. We were seated quickly, and the service was excellent. My wife ordered coconut shrimp that turned out to be shrimp in a coconut cream sauce, I asked about the pork chop or ribs, and hot...the recommended chop. It came drenched in a too sweet sauce, and was covered in onions, couldn't even see the chop. The FACT that the chop was so obscured made it impossible to differentiate the meat from the fat. Can't fault the service or the atmosphere but the food left a bit to be desired, there are better choices.More

Fab family run fresh food platters like shrimp pasta and ribs, with lovely local dishes served in a great well put-together outdoor landscape. Service is just another level, you feel like family straight away. Ended up coming most nights. Highly recommend with kids too.

Super super good food and incredible service. The mahi mahi fish was super fresh and the vegetable were cooked great. The tres leches dessert was also incredible. The food came quickly and our server was also incredibly kind.

Our family stayed at the Punta Islita hotel for spring break March 2022 and we ate at Kimbute every night!! The owner takes great pride in the food and drinks. Several times we asked for suggestions on what to order and he always had a...recommendation that turned out to be outstanding. Some of our favorite meals were the lobster, red snapper, chicken kimbute style, angel hair pasta with shrimp and white sauce, jumbo shrimp in coconut and jalapeño sauce…. Frankly, everything we ate was delicious! The drinks we enjoyed included the Cacique sour, electric lemonade and something off menu the owner made for us that he called “the pineapple thing” haha. Sooooo good! I’ve been home for a week now and wish I could go back for his delicious food! The service was so friendly. They always had our table ready for us and were genuinely happy to see us. Seating is all outdoors, but covered. One night it poured while we were there. It was lovely to dine outside as it rained all around us!More

We enjoyed several dinners at Kimbute and were always pleased by the food and service. All of the lobster dishes are particularly memorable as well as the whole fish. Great atmosphere and food!

Enjoyed grilled octupus caught that day! The lobster pasta was also amazing. Generous portions and the loveliest staff. Julio was the best. We met the sweet Jack Sparrow their visiting Scottish Fold Street cat.

The food was delicious! Our waiter had great suggestions and everything was wonderful! It is just down the hill from the Hotel Isletta. I would highly recommend!!
