My wife and I visited for Dinner to celebrate her Birthday. We had read the reviews, and had high expectations about this place. All of them were exceeded. Miguel, the Host, Bartender, Waiter, Chef, and Entertsinment masterfully filled all of those roles. He began by...explaining what dishes he had planned for the night, and asked for our approval. Then prepared his signature Drink which was Delicious. His children appeared to provide some comic relief( they are beautiful by the way). Miguel kept us entertained by conversing while cooking and when the conversation lapsed, or while we were eating we heard him singing in the kitchen. The Food was delicious, not too much, but just right to make for a very pleasant meal. This is one of the best meals we have had in the country, and Miguels kindness and passion for his craft took it to another level. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE.More

Our party of four (two adults and two 11 year old girls) enjoyed two dinners at Don Ramiro during our eight night visit and are only sad that we didn't discover Don Ramiro's sooner. The menu changes daily so, each time, we ordered everything. No...dish disappointed! The food is inspiring and always delicious! We plan to return to Punta Islita someday and dining at Don Ramiro will be a priority! The girls say hi to Malta! :-)More

You should definitely fit in a visit to Don Ramiro on your visit to Punta Islita! The food is delicious and fresh and getting to chat with the owners is awesome! They also have amazing pets, a great foosball table and the vibe is perfect!

We were so happy to find our friend Miguel along with his family and friends operating this amazing restaurant. The food and drink was excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and casual. You can not ask for a better experience in this area. Miguel and...staff are genuine, beautiful people full of life. You must make a reservation for dinner as it is limited seating and Miguel purchases and prepares food for the day. We will absolutely return next time we are in Punta Islita. It was the perfect end to a week in paradise.More

Include this in your stay at the Punta Islita Hotel. Reach out in advance as this is a small, family run establishment. The food is creative and delicious. Authentic in every way!

We eat at this restaurant every time we are in town. The chef personally makes your meal. Portions are small so you can enjoy several choices. Definitely get reservations. We stopped by to make ours. They are not open every day of the week usually....Might be a challenge to find at first but so worth the effort. We think his motto is ,"I can make it better" because he does so with each dish.More

This was our favorite meal and experience in Punta Islita! Definitely make a reservation several days ahead as Miguel’s place is small. He is a wonderful host and chef!
