Original American diner serving burgers and fries and much more! The coke floats and ginger beer is great, as is the service. Everyone was smiling and helpful, a great place to come for something a bit different. The desserts are incredible! High chairs available for babies, and friendly staff are great with kids.

We booked in advance for this. This is highly recommended as it gets busy and it's only open three days a week. The atmosphere and environment is without question one of the most interesting and atmospheric restaurants to eat in. Service and waiting staff were excellent. Food was also very good and fitted the theme completely. They catered well for... More

A great place with lots of history about the diner. The service is good and the food is what you would expect from an American diner. The portions are large but I can't help wondering about the overall presentation and quality of the food. Still, a fun and enjoyable experience to dine here!

The diner has good decor and a good atmosphere. The menus are really difficult to read, and printed off poorly. The food portions are huge but too expensive for the quality. I had a burger as they had sold out of the half roast chicken. The burger was Ok, very similar to one from wetherspoons, and the chips weren't very... More

Our first visit tonight despite having lived in the area for 10 years! Food was absolutely gorgeous, fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly, and polite. We had Lamb Burger & Fries and Hog Dog & fries along with a side of meatballs, all gorgeous!! Decor was exactly as you'd hope, and the ambience was lovely! We'll definitely be... More

Took my son for a birthday meal here and it is well worth a visit. Staff are good and the food is good quality if you're a burger fan. A little on the expensive side but you have to go for the experience. Could really do with being sited elsewhere as the location is a big let down.

There's no denying it, the decoration here is great and the young staff incredibly friendly. It's in a very odd location opposite a cement factory, next to waste ground in the middle of nowhere but I think this kind of adds to the authenticity to be honest. It's a genuine old rail car / trailer diner imported from the US... More

Me and my partner are staying in the lodge about 5 mins away and was looking for someone where to eat! Found the American diner and thought why not let's give it a try! We didn't book but got there and they gave us a table straight away they obviously asked for it back in an hour but that didn't... More

Well this was a turn up for the book. I went to Donisthorpe to collect something I won on EBay, and asked the seller where we might get some lunch. He suggested his mum's diner... and told us where it was. Why not, we thought. Wow! Glad we did. The funky tin trailer looks tiny from the outside, and it... More

We dropped in without a booking but they managed to squeeze us in. It is definitely worth booking though. The atmosphere is fab and the diner looks amazing. The menu is extensive with plenty to choose from and the portions were big too. The kids menu had lots of choice and was very reasonable at just shy of £6 for... More
