Guess it's the case when the number of diners in your party goes up, the level of service goes down. And, sometimes the food quality can suffer as well. We were a party of eight, celebrating mutual birthdays and we were shown to a delightful semi-private wine cellar dining room in the basement. (Out of sight, out of mind). Several... More

My husband and I were seated in the front room with a fireplace. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We started off with a glass of wine, the bruschetta board and burrata. Small portions, but tasty. The napa ragu was wonderful, and highly recommended. We also enjoyed the berry cheesecake. Overall great experience if you are willing to pay for... More

I decided to treat my wife to a special dinner at the Blind Horse for her birthday. The setting is very beautiful and relaxing. Service is 5star, warm and inviting. Our entrees were over the top. I had a special halibut dinner and the birthday girl had salmon. We wouldn't change a thing.

We enjoy this restaurant and Winery so much we don't mind driving an hour from Green Bay to get there. We belong to the wine club and enjoy taking friends to the restaurant for their first visit. If you are in the Kohler/Sheboygan area, this should be high on your list of places to visit.

We took a short weekend to explore the area and visited The Blind Horse Restaurant last Friday. Since we didn't have a reservation, we went as soon as they opened and hoped for the best. We were seated in a cozy room with a bay window and a fire in the fireplace. Our waiter, Jacob, was attentive, well informed and... More

Soup was bland, the cheesecake for dessert was dry and the waiter was slow. We have been here many times before, and always get a table in the front room. Not sure what it takes to get a table by the fireplace.

We ate at The Blind Horse on a Monday evening in Feb, it was not busy but there were other tables of patrons there while we ate. Our server gave us excellent service and from what we could see, he did as well to all of the others. A wonderful menu with great combinations of flavors. Everything is extremely fresh... More

Given an opportunity to leave our kids with family and enjoy a date night, my husband and I went to The Blind Horse. Neither of us had been there before, and we relied on good reviews; we were not disappointed. Even in the middle of winter, the setting was charming, with twinkle lights wrapped around mature trees, and terraces leading... More

While visiting in town, all the local suggested that this was the place to go. What a perfect visit and unbelievable property. I highly recommend that you stop in the winery and taste the fantastic wines that are made there. They source their grapes from California...it is like drinking wine in Napa Valley. The restaurant is truly a gem. They... More
