We visit quite regularly as we live just down the road. I love coming in on a Sunday and seeing that they have a good vegetarian option on their roast list. Mushroom and nut roast is one of my favourites with a nice Yorkshire pudding!! You don't get this in many other country pubs. Lovely staff too... Will be back... More
Although a long way out for us -this was a great visit - thoroughly recommend it especially if they have live music - great night and great atmosphere.
We booked in on a Sunday lunch time for a group of about 10. The food was all served promptly and was absolutely delicious! NO one was un happy with their meal and we had a few veggies & vegans! I myself had the roast chicken, the stuffing was delicious and you got a fantastic helping of chicken! A little... More

We went here for an early evening meal, not realising it was "Curry and Quiz Night". All tables seemed to be reserved but the barman quickly found us a table as he realised we would be finished before the reservation time. At no stage did we feel hurried, and we enjoyed our meals which were large, hot & well-cooked. Good... More

It's been a while finding a pub that can crack a Sunday roast but alas this pub is on it! Everything arrived promptly and all of us had a perfect meal, not rushed nice and relaxed and excellent service from Todd.
Went to The Royal Oak for an evening meal celebrating a Birthday, in a party of 18, Our meals were pre-booked, and despite the numbers, everything ran like clockwork. The food was perfect and the service first rate. The staff could not have ben more friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to return to!

Hi I am planning to book tower room from 29th October to 4th November. I would like a quiet room with sea view if possible. My husband is a platinum member - does this mean we always get access to the club lounge. Is there a club pool as well. We have been staying in both Marriotts in Doha for last 5 months and this is a treat for my husbands 60th birthday. I want to be sure to be able to get quiet non smoking room before I book.
