Yolo’s is the worlds best gas station restaurant. Calling it a gas station restaurant is really a dis-service because it is so good in all respects best for breakfast but great ice cream, bakery and more.
The wait staff is terrific and do not expect tips although tips are appreciated. And I always leave five dollars.
The best thing is the skillets for breakfast bigger than you can finish and fresh made. They also have burgers chicken and fish fry as well as fresh soups salads or whatever. My favorite.
Then you fill up with cheap gas and head north on Highway 12.

Great variety for dinner menu. Beautiful setting inside. Staff is very friendly and eager
to make sure you have a good dining experience. Specials during the week are very
good and quite popular.

I used to go for Sunday breakfast every week with friends. This is a place where you order and pay at the counter and they bring it out. Everything is cooked to order and well prepared. The food tastes good and really is a good value for the money. And there is a lot of it. Trust me, you’re going home with a box of leftovers!
The lack of soft surfaces (curtains/drapes, cloth napkins, etc) causes the noise to reverberate and be louder than necessary.
Other than that I have no complaints. I just stopped going because I like variety in restaurants, especially for breakfast. I’ll be back again.

Order at the counter and they bring it to the table. A little odd but ok. A few items are pretty good. Others just fair. Breakfast is the best we’ve had here.

We had made an unexpected stop at Yolos diner but im very pleased we did. Situated behind a Mobil station this palce is fantastic! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The owner of the diner served us and coukdnt be more helpful. She even gave us free sample of ice cream. There are many different flavours of ice cream a lot ive never heard of before but very tasty. I couldbt recommend this place more! There is also a shop on the side which has a deli and bakery.

A different approach where you order at the counter but food is delivered to your table. Not fast food by any means but great quality and quantity. The ice cream shop is great too. Closed on Monday but worth checking out for sure.

Was a good meal we came for prime rib it was sold out. So we got a tasty steak sandwich. With slaw and fries. Homemade and tasty. The blackened fish sandwich was good had jalapeño slaw and ff very flavorful. I plan on not blackened next time. Wanted ice cream but was to full. The ff are so good. Service was good but a lil strange set up. And menus seem to be mid printed the lunch and dinner are half and half. You will see

You would not expect this place located in a travel center. Yolo's restaurant is one of several businesses located in the travel center that contains a convenient store, a deli, an ice cream shop and of course, Yolos. I am not sure how you would classify the restaurant but its food offering is extensive. For breakfast you will find everything from 4 varieties of Eggs Benedict to skillets and omelets as well. For lunch and dinner you can find everything from sandwiches to wings, Broasted Chicken and Burgers of your choice. It is unique that you place your order at a counter and a staff person will deliver the food to you when it is ready. On this visit, our second one, word must be getting out because the restaurant was very busy but we still managed to find a table. My wife choose one of the 5 Egg Benedicts and I chose the Country Skillet. We had a small wait which was understandable as food is cooked to order. The food was served fresh and hot. My wife enjoyed her meal and my Country Skillet was enormous. The Country skillet consisted of a sausage patty, onion, cheddar cheese, sausage gravy with chives and I choice scrambled eggs which was served on top. A flaky butter biscuit was served on the side. My skillet was very favorable and I particularly enjoyed the sausage gravy and the flaky biscuit. We expect to come here often as this place is relatively close and we want to try their Friday Fish Fry and we heard conversations about Saturday Prime Rib. Definitely have to check that out. All in all, if you stop for gas, don't pay at the pump. You have to check out the inside.
