we stopped on a friday night for fish--decided to have walley and the wife had shrimp and we shared both--fish and shrimp were great--love the place---great food--very casual--bar type atmosphere
Get to Tubby's on Tuesdays! Excellent Steak and Lobster dinner for $19.99 It was delicious, served quite quickly by an excellent waitress! It's not fancy but it's clean and has some great food! We'll be back!
We stopped here with the kids after a day of hiking. It was about 3pm -- too early for Tubby's to be serving dinner. We got burgers (very good) and pizza (frozen, but good quality, kids loved it). Very nice, friendly bartender.

We go up to this area at least once every summer and try to get up to Tubby's for the fish fry every time. They have walleye which you can't find everywhere. Its alwasy crowded and you may have to wait since it is small....More
This is exactly what the name implies-a bar then a grill. I went for the Friday night fish fry. It's recommended to get there early or really late as the locals tend to frequent the place and the bar takes up most of the building....More
