Very good Baked French Onion Soup and their version of a seven layer salad. Service was attentive and friendly. My brother had the pulled pork nachos as his meal he said it was great the pickled jalapeño was not too hot had a great taste.

When we first moved to Cedarburg, people kept asking if we had been to The Farmstead. Finally I went there with a coworker for lunch - it was ok. Then my husband and I went on a weekday evening. The food was just OK and not anything special as far as ambience. I guess I'm just not passionate about the... More

It took us awhile to find the Farmstead but it was good. They are hidden in an old home behind a strip mall and a stand of cedars. The inside is very cozy, about 10 tables and a couple booths plus a bar area. The waitress was very attentive. We ordered different burgers and sandwiches and they were all very... More

Long-ish wait for a table, but the bartenders took good care of us. Wait staff and hostess were also very attentive once we got seated. We both enjoyed our dinners and agree that the garlic glaze is delicious. The open dining room was very fun.

Four of us went for lunch on a Wednesday. Two had cod, one blue gill, and one had the chicken avocado sandwich. The cod was over done but okay. Blue gill was good. Coleslaw had no flavor. BUT my Sandwich was delicious. Nothing to write home about, but an okay place. Guess I should go back and try it again.........

Beautiful 1800's stone structure interior, wonderful experience , steaks are tender, wonderful optional seasoning, garlic glaze is amazing, you must try the seven layer salad, it to die for. Farm bites as appetizers are little tenderloin on garlic toast with a homemade pickle. Great drinks, great service and fun staff. Yes you will wait, but that tells you why ,... More

Farmstead is known for their steaks, but I had the Walleye dinner which was great. Unfortunately we waited way too long to get seated (over an hour). Once seated, the service was good and we enjoyed the ambience. It was a cool little place.

Service at the bar and table was excellent. We had the pickle tenderloin appetizer and it was amazing! I could have had a plate of them for dinner!! I had the... More

Geez, reading other reviews, I have to question if they've tried other places. 5 O'Clock, Joey Gerards, are MUCH better. OK, Farmstead is good. Nice place, good food, but definitely NOT worth the waits they always have. Had Top steak. Prepared as ordered, but waitress left us un-attended so we only had one bottle of wine (Geez, that sounds like... More
