Interesting menu. The food was quite good. However, you have to wait a very long time as the service is very slow..

When we walked into the restaurant we were greeted immediately. Very friendly atmosphere and very welcoming. The service was fantastic. The food was great. The whole ambiance of the restaurant was a New Orleans feel as blues music played. We will definitely return. The Crab Cakes are a must try.

Chose Gumbo's on recommendation from locals, and was really happy with this cool little place. Will definitely be back on our next Fayetteville trip!

Great oysters but it took an hour to get entree. My husbands salmon was cold and lacked seasoning. When we ordered there was only one other couple in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere

We had a delicious lunch there on a rainy day in October. The gumbo ya-ya was the best I've slipped a lip over since the last time I visited New Orleans. From appetizer to salad to entree, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was good, the music was perfect, and the food had the deep, satisfying flavor of good cajun... More

Service was super slow one table hit up and left because they had waited so long. It was way to dim in the dining room, very hard to read the menu. The food was good when it came but it wasn't hot, kinda like it had sat in the back for awhile. I ordered a burger and asked for well... More

From gumbo, jambalaya to a finish of phenomenal bread pudding, Gumbo's delivers handsomely. Even our salads were anything but typical.

Arrived at noon for lunch on a work day. Ordered a burger and turkey club. There were about 6 other people in the restaurant. Took an hour to get our meals. The food, as always, was magnificent, but there is no excuse for the delay. We had to ask repeatedly for a napkin. Had to ask for water refills. The... More

I guess its what we expected for WV Orleans cuisine. The gumbo was blah, my shrimp and oysters were under fried (kinda limpy) and the hamburger my husband ordered (which came 15mns AFTER all the other entrees), well he said they could have done so much better with it. The wait was not worth the effort in my opinion. We... More

Chose this restaurant as we do enjoy gumbo and other Louisiana foods. What a wonderful find in a small town in West Virginia. This is not fast food but cooked when ordered but was well worth the wait. The gumbo was filled with crawfish shrimp oysters and sausage in a roux based sauce that was created by someone who knew...
