What a welcoming restaurant. We started with the cheese and beer fondue and you would not believe how delicious it was. All of the food here is made from scratch and the recipes are most creative. We thought we would stop at the fondue but when we discussed the fried chicken platter with a guest sitting next to us, he... More

This restaurant represents Charleston in so many ways. Friendly, laid-back, kinda funky style, good food with local flavors, live music, WV beer... this is the spot to bring out-of-town guests. The menu is well-rounded with something for everyone. Some dishes are EXCELLENT while others can fall short. Dinner is my favorite meal here--service is usually better then, the food is... More

I like to have a meal characteristic of the city when I travel, and Bluegrass Kitchen fits Charleston nicely: relaxed atmosphere, hardworking food. Lisa is the kind of professional waitress who makes an evening hum, and she made helpful recommendations. The perfectly prepared trout and grits, accompanied by vinegary kale, were delicious! Also tempted by the fried chicken, worth another... More

We had a wonderful meal here. Restaurant was mostly full, a good sign on a Monday night. We shared a roasted apple and blue cheese salad with walnuts....absolutely delicious. I had the chicken sandwich with malt vinegar fries and my husband had fried chicken with mashed cauliflower and greens. Both entrees were great! Especially liked the thin sliced chicken on... More

This place is fantastic! Farm to table food. Great breakfast burrito, great potato cakes, incredible spinach salad and super wine list. The art on the walls make this place so interesting.

This was okay. They have very interesting food selections. Sometimes they don't remember special orders. Twice I have asked for the same condiment to not be on my sandwich and both times it has come out with everything.

It's just a dive . A pretty greasy spoon restaurant, luckily it's not overpriced. They got the order wrong and it wasn't very busy; so I would be afraid if they were. I don't know what people rave about, I thought it was slightly better than fast food but I still think I'm sick.

The brunch menu is pretty limited. Not many choices for children to drink other than orange juice and white milk. Very eclectic setting.

This was the first place I came to eat after returning from the war. They fixed me the meatloaf sandwich even though it was technically dinner menu time. They have a wonderful tap system and have the ability to serve quads properly. I've never had a bad plate there and always look forward to returning.

A group of 3 went for lunch and shared our various dishes. I was really impressed with the variety and flavors of the food.
