The food and drink are always good...the prices are slightly high but if you get to enjoy music on the deck in fair weather its worth it....order two drinks at a time though since the service is always slow

This was recommended to us by the innkeepers at the local bed and breakfast we stayed at. I had a nice bowl of cream of crab soup and my hubby had a portabella mushroom sandwich. Both were delicious. Service was excellent.

Stopped while driving through town on the way home after Thanksgiving looking for a nice place to stop and eat. T&A review led us to the Ambrae House and we were not disappointed. I had a cup of their "famous" Crab Bisque which has every right to be famous - a smooth and tasty bisque which is quite obviously homemade.... More

Driving through on our way to Pittsburgh stopped for a bite to eat and this was perfect. Full of families, friendly and welcoming staff. Surprised not to find it rated 1 or 2. Wide range of entrees and sandwiches. Highly recommend crab cakes and bisque. Fries were nice and crispy, very fresh salad, and house wine was delightful.

My wife and I eat here for breakfast twice and dinner and dessert once. The omelets and home fries were awesome. The best home fries i have ever had at a restaurant. We had the ahi tuna for starters with there wasabi said it was very good. My wife and I shared a bowl of the crab Bisk soup all... More

We opted for eating outside on a warm September day and enjoyed an ample and tasty spinach salad and a delicious grilled chicken and provolone panini with spinach and a zesty sauce. This is a sports bar with excellent food.

We arrived at this restaurant and asked for seating for two. As there was a band that evening, we were offered a seat right up close to them (no thanks) or inside. We chose inside. Here is a summary - the menu is about what I expected in a small town (not a lot of salads or lighter foods) but... More

We have eaten here several times while staying in Berkeley Springs. It is a bed and breakfast but we have only eaten in the restaurant. We have stayed in a cabin elsewhere. It usually isn't crowded when we go. The crab bisque at this place is to die for. I've been tempted to drive two hours for it. I suggest... More

On our first day in our mini-vacation, we stopped by Ambrae House for lunch. This is a quaint place and good atmosphere for lunch. The staff was nice and took care of us as we walked in. It is nice to see locals hanging out, so that tells you a bit of the place. If you're in Berkeley Springs, get... More

I have traveled the east coast and order fish tacos at every stop. From Cape Cod to Maine...from Myrtle Beach to Florida...I can not find a better fish taco than this place. The restaurant decor is average and the people are friendly. The outdoor area is a nice area but needs to be upgraded. The rustic feel is one thing... More

Had an AMAZING dining experience last night at The Ambrae House, a new B&B in Berkeley
Springs, W.V. Starting with the open air patio to the up-scale friendly beer and wine bar to the
quaint restaurant, the ambiance of the establishment is a 10! And then there is the food, if the
ambiance is a 10, the food is a 12! The Maryland Crab Chowder is a must; the Maryland Crab
Cakes are full of crab, and any filler is sparse, the best we have ever had! This will be a weekly
date night for us.
