Stopped by to grab breakfast on our way home from Yakima. Not a huge selection in the case, but we found exactly what we wanted nonetheless. They have beautiful fresh baked breads and baguettes, along with a selection of cookies, scones and croissants. Nice selection of coffee drinks, so overall a quick easy downtown stop for yummy pastry.

I love this place! Great food, fresh ingredients, wonderful baked goods, and bonus: they have a vegan soup everyday! The people are so friendly - Miguel, Jasmin, and Yvonne are just terrific! They have amazing specialty items for holidays - the tiny bear almond cookies for valentine's Day are maybe the cutest thing I've ever seen at a bakery.

I love to go into this bakery on Sunday mornings after going to the Farmers Market. The only thing I don't like is that they run out of things, the lines are long and you have to wait for service but the food is very good.

We happened to walk by and decided to duck in when the door opened as we passed and we could smell bakery items. We had a coffee and a pear scone, plus a bowl of oatmeal. Tasty. Not many tables, and the place was cold (it was cold outside too, maybe so cold the heat couldn't keep up?) but we... More

Such a wide variety of stuff. Lots of bakery goodies, sandwiches, soups etc etc. Had a great breakfast sandwich & croissant. The wife had an awesome split pea soup. So many goodies it was hard to choose but their red velvet cheesecake was divine & they make a mean flourless chocolate dome. Wished we lived closer so we could have... More

This place is a great go-to for some really good pastries and drinks. Went there yesterday and had one of the soups - great stuff. By far the best bakery in town. Not the best bakery I've ever been to, but you won't find anything better in a 50 mile radius.

Where I live in eastern Washington, we can get "croissants" that are nothing like a real one from France or Cafe Besalu in Seattle. The texture is wrong. Nonetheless, they are tasty, crescent-shaped rolls. At Essentia, the "croissant" had no flakiness and no particularly interesting flavor. Two bites (one end, one middle) and I dumped it. In fairness, I didn't... More

We stop here every time we are downtown. Love the bordelais loaf of bread. Hand maid everything. Really you can't go wrong with any of the food here. Okay coffee is okay. The pastries and bread or lunch is the reason I come here. But the coffee is better than Starbucks in my opinion.

Whenever we are traveling and are in the area near "coffee break" time, we head downtown to Essencia Artisan Bakery. Their desserts are so good. We like their cinnamon rolls.

The pastries here are to die for-- try the rhubarb croissant, you won't be disappointed!!! The coffee was good but a little too cool- I like very hot coffee. Service was polite and fast and the locals seem to love this place!!!
