Had enjoyed Guardian years ago but was disappointed on recent visit. Staff was very robotic and not particularly friendly..just serving the wine with little enthusiasm. Did have a very nice charcuterie/cheese plate. Wines were nothing special

I had tried a bottle of Guardian wine before and thoroughly enjoyed it, so we knew we had to come here to try all their wines. We weren't disappointed. First off, make reservations, while not required, it is recommended and easy to do on-line. The...location is right at the round-about in the Hollywoood section of town, in an old home right off the road. We sat outside on the porch...there is seating indoors and in a tent next-door. The servers do an amazing job describing the wine notes...they seem passionate about wine and proud of their labels. We would up purchasing several bottles of wine here and can't wait to share them with our friends.More

This wine was absolutely wonderful. It was a good price for a tasting and on top of that discounted wine if bought after the tasting. Definatly returning

I am absolutely loving everything at this winery. The single varietal reds (shoutout to cab franc) are all very delicious, as are the red blends. (Alibi, Chalk Line). I have been a member for the past year and truly enjoy the tasting room experience every...time I am in Woodinville.More

The Guardian is one of the best wine tasting experiences that we have had in Wodenville. The tasting room is nice, the service is excellent and the wines very good.

Not only is the wine great, the staff really fun, but the story behind this winery is incredibly unique! The wife is a reporter, the husband a police officer so their wines are named chalk line, the informant, gun metal & more. This tasting room...is really fun with pictures of Frank Sinatra & Al Capone as they were being booked. Modern decor with patio tables outside on a warmer day. We will definitely come back often due to the quality & price point of this wine! Tip: Good parking for several tasting rooms on site so easy to access!More

Our son was looking for a unique setting for his wedding. He found it at Guardian Cellars located in Woodenville Washington. The owner was very excited to have a wedding at his winery. The staff went way above and beyond the call of duity to...help in anyway they could. The integrity that was shown us by the owner and staff is a example of how they do business then they must make some of the best wine around. On behalf of the family, Thank you Guardian Cellars for your willingness to help.More

Did some tasting at Guardian. We have been coming to Guardian and buying wine from Jerry and Jennifer for more than 10 years, and the quality of the juice keeps us coming back for more and more and more...One of our favorite blends is Gun...Metal, which is dark and luscious and ages really well. They've just started a second line, Newsprint, that Jennifer is heading (her other life is as a local reporter)...Lots of single varietal choices, I really like the petit Verdot. Wines are reasonably priced, and it's worth tasting to figure out what wows your palate. Plus, they (and the staff) are very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to share their experiences.More

This was our first time in Woodinville, so my husband and I visited several tasting rooms/wineries and this was one of my favorites. Wines were delicious! We met both the husband and wife owners and chatted with them both while there. They were very friendly...and welcoming :) We bought a bottle and stayed to enjoy it while there. Definitely looking forward to them coming to the St. Louis area for a tasting event in the spring.More

The clever couple who own this gem have created a wonderful winery with excellent wines, cleverly named by themes from law enforcement (he's a cop), at amazingly reasonable prices. We loved each red we tasted, particularly Chalk Line and The Rookie. We were visiting from...St. Louis, and we're so impressed, we dropped a longtime membership in a well-respected Napa wine club because the wines here are just better (not to mention far more affordable).More

I went in to taste with friends of ours who are wine club members. The tasting room is pretty cool - sleek and funky. The wine is OK. They charge a minimum tasting fee which is waived with a purchase (standard practice), but wine club...members get to taste for free. So, we're with our friends, go in and do a tasting which is poured by one of the owners (the wine maker's wife) and buy a bottle before we leave. My friends (who are MEMBERS and regularly get allocations) also bought a bottle and as we were leaving I heard the owner say (in a snarky voice) "I can't believe they came in here, did a tasting and only bought ONE bottle." Really? They're members! They buy a ton of wine from you on a regular basis. If you don't want your members to taste for free then limit the number of tastings they get to one a quarter or something but definitely don't disparage your customers while they're still in your tasting room. My husband and I decided we're boycotting all Guardian wine and will never buy it again. We'll stick with wineries like Sparkman and Alexandria Nicole who know how to treat their club members.More

Guardian is one of the highlights of Woodinville. These are fun, lively wines offered for tasting in a suitably fun and lively environment. The staff are passionate about the wines and happy to share stories and information. The other patrons always seem to be having...a great time, which makes for a friendly vibe. There isn't a bad wine in the bunch.More

Our group chanced into an "off time" tasting at Guardian during the week. Like most of the wineries in the Warehouse District, Guardian's tasting room is usually open only on weekends. None of us were familiar with Guardian, but quickly came to like their wines...to the point that a case is following us home! Their price points are very reasonable, (especially given the quality) starting below $20 a bottle. Guardian's overall theme, (in addition to excellent wine) is law enforcement, which being owned by a police officer is appropriate. All the wines are named for terminology associated with that profession, such as: Felony, Misdemeanor, Chalk Line, etc. A bottle from here would make a great gift for any law enforcement friends or family!More

By far our favorite wine tasting all day. It was our first stop and we were the only ones there. Jerry is clearly passionate about making great wines and he's extremely successful. We learned some new tricks of the trade (milk?) and left with a...case of great wines. His names are very clever and reflect his "day job" serving and protecting. Will definitely make this a regular stop when in Woodinville.More
