I highly recommend The Herbfarm for private events. I recently had my wedding reception at The Herbfarm, and the experience was everything I hoped it would be plus more. The owners worked with me directly and I was given a level of customer service that exceeds anything I've experienced in the past. I am a detail oriented perfectionist myself, and... More

Friends and I decided to take the fiscal plunge and go to the Herbfarm. At $319 each, definitely a tab beyond our prior experiences. It definitely was a luxurious evening! The theme in late November was "The Harvest Table." Nine courses each with its own wine. Each course with its own name: Sea & Shore; Crab Boat; Ris de Veau... More

Superb dining, service, and ambiance. The gold standard of gourmet cuisine and wine pairing. The portions are always just right and varied.

Had a 9 course dinner with mushrooms in every course paired with wine and beer!! Most food hravested and grown locally.....wine and beer obtained from the areas 122 wineries....I have never had such great service at a restaurant...I have also never had all the waiters and staff and the chef introduced PRIOR to the dinner....It took 5 hours to eat!!

Took my partner to the Herbfarm for his birthday in August 2012. It was truly a perfect meal — they accommodated my vegetarianism with no issues, and everything was delicious! I highly recommend staying next door at the Willows Lodge.

We toured the restaurant and can't wait to experience dinner. The atmosphere, preparation of decor and friendly staff of experts are all top notch. While the price may detour some I would suggest saving those pennies for something you may never encounter again.

My husband found this restaurant while planning our recent Pacific Northwest adventure and thought it seemed like a unique experience. He was right! The evening was full of good food, good wine, beautiful surroundings, and atmosphere fit for royalty. I tried new foods that I never had an opportunity to eat before and spent a wonderful 4 hours being pampered.... More

We've heard great things about The Herbfarm and decided to visit for the special visit of having our friends travel to Seattle. We made reservations for our party of 8... apparently all larger tables were taken so we were seated in tables of 4, set one next to the other. Not very conducive to conversation but apparently we were told... More

I have enjoyed this restaurant 3 times in it's two prior locations and where it is now; each time its an event to be remembered, most times for the food and always for the experience. This is a 4 plus hour experience that is capped with some of the most delightful bites (yes they are small) and interesting wine pairings... More

The Herbfarm is America's only 5-Diamond Restaurant north of Napa Valley and east of Chicago. With working farm and restaurant 20 minutes from Seattle, the restaurant offers 26 different 9 course dinner menus each year.Creed: The Herbfarm believes that no dish can be better than its ingredients, and that the best ingredients are usually local. Freshness is ephemeral, and geography expresses itself in the taste of the food--sometimes subtly and sometimes profoundly. The foods and wines of our region share a similar motherhood of soil and weather, making for a happier culinary marriage than those from dissimilar climates. The Herbfarm believes that chefs who cook with local ingredients--season by season, year after year--develop a more complete understanding of the foods than chefs who do not. This understanding can give rise to greater expressions of the food, its preparation, and enjoyment. The Herbfarm believes that supporting local farmers, foragers, cheesemakers, wineries, ranches, and fishermen helps preserve local foods.
