My husband and I dined here recently and we both enjoyed the evening very much. The hostess was very warm, friendly and accommodating as was our waitress. We ordered the brat appetizer which was fresh and delicious because they make their own brats on the premises. We both had salads which were very good as the dressings are made there... More

We had been shopping all day and it was starting to rain and just wanted to get a good meal and sit for awhile. Went into the Das Stein Haus and decided to have the prime rib. VERY BUSY and not enough help. Had to wait, but the food made it worth it. Wonderful prime rib, cooked perfectly to order,... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch and were blown away by the food. It's an unpretentious family restaurant with a great menu, generous portions, modest prices (given the quality and quantity), and attentive service. Their house-made, proprietor's recipe brats were so good, we brought home 2 pounds to enjoy later. Schnitzel, spätzle, soup, apple strudel, German beers...everything we... More

The spatzle is the best we've had outside of Germany. The Jager schnitzel and gravy was excellent. The sausages incredible. The service was very good. Even have Celebrator on tap! Great German beers. Very generous portions and reasonably priced..

Located in the unassuming 5 Mile Shopping Plaza, Das Stein Haus provides good, filling authentic (or as close as you're going to get in WA State) food. I enjoyed the Jager Schnitzel with home fries and red cabbage. Served with French onion soup, the petite portion was VERY satisfying. Reasonable prices and friendly service made for a pleasant meal. Don't... More

Das Stein Haus is arguably the best German option in Spokane. Be sure to stick to their typical German fare...schnitzel. If you stray into the seafood you may be disappointed. Great beer selection.

Food was just like being in Germany. The potato salad was fantastic. The sausages were excellent. Great flavor and not greasy! Highly recommend the Lemon cake.

Breakfast is now on the menu. Six of us went the other day and every one had something different and everyone was happy with what they got. I had the jaeger snitzel with potato pancakes; the pork was tender, the gravy was thick and flavorful. Others had sausage and enjoyed it tremendously. Price was reasonable for what you got.

Bright interior for a lounge/restaurant combined. Nice seating, friendly staff, large portions of food. We ordered the "petite" portion of chicken marsala and fish & chips. The plate was filled to the rim. Came with salad and side dish options. Lots of great beer. Karaoke on Wed, Fri, and Sat with Jerry & Dawn @ 8pm. They keep things moving... More

Das Stein Haus is easy to find and parking is adequate as it is in a strip mall. The restaurant is large enough and offers a fare of excellent German dishes or if you prefer some standard American dishes.. The decor is authentic German. They have an excellent selection of German Beers and Wines... The deserts are yummy... Eat here... More
