Reservations are suggested, as we had to sit at the bar for dinner. But that was ok! Food and service were excellent as well as the atmosphere!

I have had appetizers at Italia Trattoria on 2 occasions over the years, but I've never been there for their brunch. Trust me, it is excellent. I've eaten in Italy over the years (9 times), Switzerland (3 times), and Austria (3 times). My friend has...More

Our group of six family had a very good brunch experience in early November. I tried the donuts and eggs Benedict. Both very good. I also sampled my wife's Brioche French toast--very sweet and good. Service was very good and prices reasonable if slightly high....More

Great inventive dishes. Lovely ambience. Wait staff is only there when you need them - which is perfect.

When you visit a big city, life can seem hectic and pre-packaged. Not so at this delightful trattoria tucked in a cozy corner of Spokane called Brown's Addition. In fact, you could whet your appetite by walking 'round the Addition for an hour or so,...More

This is our 2nd time eating brunch here and it has become a family tradition. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic about their food and being there. The zaboli (or whatever the donuts are called) are heavenly. They offer quite a range from savory to...More

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner in this cozy restaurant. He ordered the Proscuitto as as appetizer and it was outstanding. The balsamic served with it was sweet and a perfect offset to the salty proscuitto. I ordered the gnocchi on the recommendation...More

I ate here for a third time last night, and it was fantastic. I started with a trio of local goat cheeses, which were superb. I then moved on to the Tuna (rare, of course) over a bed of fingerling potatoes and topped with olives....More

A super lovely early evening at ArtFest in CDA Park then a short walk to Italia Tratorria. Dinner was superb. Started with a perfect light ceasarsalad, their homemade bread is to die for. All the entrees we're perfect.

Description
In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman opened Italia Trattoria, a lively, regionally inspired Italian restaurant in historic Browne’s Addition just west of downtown Spokane. Chef Anna’s commitment to cooking seasonally with the finest local produce and artisan products available from Italy and the Pacific Northwest has differentiated Italia Trattoria from any other restaurant in Spokane. The menu has an eclectic mix of house made pastas, meats and fresh fish, salads and soups, and breakfast dishes on weekends. Our menu changes seasonally while offering some of our house favorite dishes year around. The menu is complimented by a well-received wine list with a primary focus on Italian producers and some local Northwest wines. We offer a full service bar with hand crafted martinis, barrel aged cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and the best espresso in town. Whether you are in the mood for our grilled rack of wild boar with sweet potato gnocchi, a house made squid ink fettuccine with spicy wild shrimp, our charred octopus salad, the best meatballs in town, or our city wide famous zeppole doughnuts or tiramisu, come dine with us.
