The tables are crowded and the food is just ok for the most part. The scramble i ordered tasted like the mushrooms were from a can and they put a couple slices of "swiss cheese" on it, not real cheese by any means. The wait staff were kind and food came fairly quick since we did go on a busy... More

I stopped in on my way to PA. I had the philly and fries. The food was hot and good. Service was good too. I have no complaints and was happy to stop in. Every table was taken so I guess this place is popular.

We decided, since we do reviews, to choose a restaurant solely based on reviews from TripAdvisor. We tried the Cod fish and chips, with coleslaw and a cup of chowder. Very delicious. Lightly battered with flour, moist cod fillets, chowder was fantastic! I normally don't eat fries, I did today and they were great. Just crispy enough, not greasy. Coleslaw... More

This is a basic American cafe with all of the expected menu items at very reasonable prices. However, the food just isn't very good. I had halibut and chips. The halibut was dry and chewy. The chips were frozen steak fries. Meh. My friend said her hamburger was okay but not memorable. The service was good and the server was... More

This is a local 'go to' restaurant for consistent good food and service. Not fancy, not expensive but very good.

Extensive selections to fit your palette. My favorite is liver and onions. They are bringing back Friday night fish dinners, a favorite of us locals. They have chalkboard specials, like oysters on a specific night. I was disappointed in the fried clams, too chewy . Restaurant large enough for big parties. Hometown atmosphere.

I was disappointed with their halibut fish and chips. The batter was heavy and tasteless. The halibut was dry and tasteless....maybe because it previously frozen? The fries were below average too.

Fish & chips are the Peninsula's best, nothing but good food served here. Loved the friendly atmosphere, you can be alone & be invited to sit at a table with others. New owner Marie & her family love their customers.

We went there for lunch. My husband has numerous food allergies. We were nickel and dimed for everything. Extra $$ for each piece of fish. Extra $$ for toast. Too many extras, The food was bland! We will not return! Save your $$ !
