The hotel is under renovation right now but the pub is open. We stopped for an afternoon oyster snack and enjoyed the authentic Irish-pub atmosphere. It's pretty dark...but I suppose that's authentic, too.

The fare consisted of small sandwiches, cheeses, spinach rools, various appetizers, shrimp, a wonderful fresh mushroom soup...all complimented...More

Great place to stay. It was quiet and we enjoyed the peace. Great fresh food in the restaurant. Only stayed one night so didn't have time to check the local area out

Beautiful Inn with an interesting history. Food is good and nicely prepared. The owner is delightful. A delightful place to come and eat and I'm sure that it's even nicer to stay overnight in one of the beautiful rooms.

We started with wasters on the half shell. A new experience for both. Probably one neither of us will repeat . But it was fun to try something different. And it wasn’t awful. I had ciopino which was unusual because it contained olives. The ingredients...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Shelburne. The building and furnishings provided a charming atmosphere. Our host, David, was entertaining and attentive. The wine list was extensive, and our meals (and the desserts) were excellent. While some may complain about the prices, I have...More

Recommended by the tourist office, so we stopped for lunch. The restaurant is beautiful, with stained glass windows, stunning wood furniture including a bar with the most elegant bar stools I've ever seen, and an adjacent outdoor patio that's like dining in a garden. Husband...More

The Shelburne Restaurant & Pub has been serving up local cuisine since 1896. Working closely with local purveyors and foragers of seafood and produce, our staff makes the most of an enviable bounty of northwest ingredients. A talented team of chefs and bakers take pride in their 'scratch' kitchen. The freshest, seasonal ingredients rule the day. Guests have the option of dining in the elegant dining room of the original 1896 building or having a brew and a bite in the adjacent pub, which also offers outdoor seating in the summer months. Choose a wine from our award-winning wine list, a northwest microbrew on tap, or one of our hand-crafted cocktails.
