How refreshing to find a cafe with a cool vibe, eclectic funky decor, including plants hanging from the walls and original art on the brick walls. Very inviting! Warm, friendly service only added to the lovely experience of dining here. We went for lunch on our anniversary and found a varied menu which suited our needs. We weren't that hungry... More

My sister and I had the pleasure of dinning here on our last night in Port Townsen. Noah our waiter was a delight. He was friendly, funny, and knowelable about the menu. The menu had a very good selection of local organic vegan and not vegan food meals. A lot of gluten free options as well. We ordered the bread... More

Many of the restaurants in Port Townsend have the "new age-hippy" feel, and this is one of those places. You can usually count on some allergy/gluten-free choices, all-natural, locally grown foods, and the smells of an herb garden. In that respect, this one did not disappoint. I was quite hungry, and was pleased to find a salad of my liking,... More

I last reviewed this place 5 years ago and have come back from time to time. After yesterday's visit, I thought it deserved another review. We wandered in for a lateish lunch and ordered the apple walnut salad and the nachos to share. The food and the service did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and servings were generous enough that... More

This was such a cozy place, just a few tables. The food was great, and friendly service. They serve wine and beer, and even have some vegan options. I had a pasta dish that they modified as vegan. My friend had a lamb sandwich, she liked it very much. I would highly recommend this nice little place.

Needed to grab some dinner before catching the ferry. Our salad was awesome. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. They were very accommodating when we asked for it to be split and rushed. They were clearly mindful of their impact on the earth by sourcing local and using earth friendly containers. I highly recommend them.

Well designed comfortable small space off the main drag in PT. I had a salad (very good) and a most amazing vegan chocolate cake. It's good i don;t live there because that cake really is irresistible. Prices surprisingly high ... i guess they deter much of the target clientele. Still - a local gem, this place.

I walked into this restaurant. It was crowded with hardly a seat left. I managed to fit myself on a stool and the CSR offered me a taste of the soup of the day, something with artichoke..I licked my bowl clean. GO the food is that good!

The food was good but I realized that their costs were high. The service was great but slow as they were full. I was thankful that we had a child as they tried to speed it up to accommodate her needs.

Description
This small cafe has raised the basic to new heights for Port Townsend casual dining. The focus is on sandwiches, burritos, tacos, salads, soups, and smoothies. Owl Sprit does take "local" seriously, with their truly great burgers sourced from locally grown range-fed beef raised just 8 miles away! The shredded onion "haystack" is to die for!
