Hostess - terrible Waiter - great Food - okay Prices - not worth what you get View - would have been nice but we were told there was no available seating on the patio although we sat and looked at 4 empty tables on the patio for the hour plus we were there.

We stayed at the resort and had meals at the Fireside. I had read some poor reviews and was not anticipating the great experience we had. The first day we had drinks and appetizers on the covered porch while watching the boats ... we didn't even want to go to our room we were so relaxed and comfortable, we stayed... More

Thank you for this very kind review - we deeply appreciate that you made the time to share your impressions and that we did well. The setting does invite lingering and we love when our guests do just that...it really allows for an experience that reflects well on our dining room/veranda and our approach to good food/beverage and gracious service.... I stayed at the Resort for 3 nights recently & ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I had the Kobe beef twice, because it was so good. Extremely tender beef strips on top of a truffle risotto (which was also excellent), served with fresh vegetables. The other dinner entrée I tried was the pork medallions, & they turned... More

Thank you for this very informative review. We love that you shared the specifics with us - and that we did well by your obvious "foodie" take on dining. Thanks also for pointing out the miscommunication on your last morning....something we will review and address. It is so helpful when you give details...that allows us to improve! We especially appreciate... More

We had two meals while staying at the Resort. Our dinner was excellent, with a steamed clam appetizer, a beautifully prepared piece of halibut, and a very tasty burger. Breakfast the next morning was also exceptional, especially the local farm fresh eggs.

My wife and I drove over to Port Ludlow to check it out and stayed to eat an early meal at the Fireside Restaurant. We ate outside, enjoying the view and good food. The view and the food was good. We made a note to ourselves to come back for dinner some night during the summer.

Everything at dinner was wonderful! We also appreciated the wine list - great selections. Enjoyed wine recommendations from the Sommalier.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights at the resort. We had dinner one night and breakfast twice. Our dinner was very good. I had their hamburger and my wife had the scallops. Both meals were tasty and filling. Breakfast was excellent. The first morning we both had a half order of biscuits and gravy. It was the... More

Great food. Ate at 6pm and was able to order off the happy hour menu as well as the nightly menu. Lovely setting, delicious food and attentive and friendly service. Used a voucher from Living Social.

No longer do they have the happy hour menu. It has been replaced with a Tapas menu which is most disappointing. The cod on that menu was a tiny deep fried, over cooked greasy crisp. No longer do they offer hamburgers, chowder or salads on a happy hour menu. The service was poor as we did not receive the order... More

Thank you for your recent response. We appreciate your desire to have some of the traditional items - and share with you that chowder is available every day from lunch through dinner. Guests enjoy this as they do our Wednesday promotion of Burgers & Burgundy. It is important that we meet the desires of our community and we listen carefully... More

As the title suggests, money in great amounts is not needed here. Yes, you do need some, but when you arrive and see the view, when you start getting itchy feet to get on the golf course, or even if you just want to walk the docks in this amazingly clean harbor, you will not be spending as much as... Chef Dan Ratigan prepares locally sourced menus and works closely with the local farms, artisans and fisheries to create a Daily Dinner Menu. We are open for Happy Hour EVERY DAY from 4-6pm featuring tapas style food options and daily beverage specials. The restaurant has received the Wine Spectator Award for 2014 the Award of Distinction from the Washington Wine Commission 2014 as well.
