Our favorite pizza in town, loved by my 7-year-old granddaughter to my 16-year-old stepson to my adult children. Live local music on Fridays and Saturday nights.

The pizza was excellent. However, we had reservations for 7:15. After (finally) finding parking, we were seated at 7:20. When seated, our party of three was provided two menus. Our drink orders were taken at 7:38 - at that time we finally had an opportunity to ask for a third menu. The chairs and tables are so packed together in... More
OMG, their pizza is authentic and very tasty! I am a pizza snob ever since I lived in Italy many years ago. Ever since then, I have been on a nationwide search for authentic Italian pizza, including New York, to no avail. I've had some tasty pizza over the years, but never anything truly authentic. I had a Gitana salad, porter beer and a Pizza with ham, buffalo mozzarella, onions and olives. The food is real good and tasty I love paper thin crispy crust. They also have fresh roses on the table Great pizza in Olympia.
The Pizza is amazing, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. Service was excellent and friendly. The live music was appropriate and good. It is located in the heart of downtown Olympia. It is close to the theaters, for an easy walk to evening entertainment.
My wife and I went here for lunch today. The pizza was good with fresh ingredients. We had the lunch special. Which was 1- 9 inch pizza with a salad for $11.95. The service and serving were fast. The crust on the pie was thin cooked in a wood fired oven.
We split a Mediterranean salad, followed by a simple Margherita pizza and some nice Chianti. I grew up in New York/New Jersey and I have eaten pizza in Naples, Italy. La Gitana ranks with some of the best.
So, all the alluring qualities of Starbucks are found at this restaurant - an inviting gathering place, extraordinary service, quality ingredients and focused on one product and doing it exceptionally well. For Starbucks, that's fresh brewed coffee; for this restaurant it's stone-fired pizza.
On Fridays and Saturdays they have live music and it never disappoints. The pizza is amazing. Wood fired perfection with fresh organic ingredients. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They have vegan pizza too!
