We had a weeknight dinner here that was very good. It was quiet and spacious. Service was excellent. Looked like the other patrons were mainly from the Capitol, all dressed in business attire; we weren't, but felt very comfortable nevertheless.

Olympia's dining scene, being somewhat sparsely populated at the pointy end of the quality pyramid, is enhanced by Waterstreet Cafe's consistent and delightful kitchen and dining space. We dined on a winter weekend evening and saw two basic crowds: the business professionals straight from the...More

We just came in for drinks. This has a great ambiance. Menu and atmosphere looked great. We sat at the bar and had great service. Also, had a lovely chat with one of the local musicians. Great find. If we lived here I think we'd...More

Waterstreet Cafe was, for a long time, the standout primo place to dine in Olympia. Then it had some iffy years, some good stuff, some mediocre stuff, and some great stuff, but inconsistent. Now there are new chefs--they are innovative and their creations are fantastic....More

My husband and I like to dine outside in the nice weather and this is fairly comfortable spot. Don't expect a view you look at the parking lot. But the food was good I had the salad with shrimp and they were warm and delish!

After the women’s march it was a rainy day and we went there for delicious wine, homemade tomato bisque with grilled cheese with 3 kinds of cheese and delicious homemade bread.

It is hard to express out gratitude to Brittain and Haley for making our daughter's bridal shower a truly wonderful celebration. The food and service were spectacular and I would definitely host an event here again. We cannot say enough about how well organized they...More

Food was great, but expensive. Good for a "special" evening. However noise level (6pm) was unreal....won't be going there again

It's Olympia, you can wear whatever you want and probably get away with it. Likely a business casual sort of attire would be good.
