Our dining experience occurred the day following Christmas. We were informed of the opportunity to choose a bottle of wine from those on display in a side room which we did. We returned to our table and reviewed the menu with my wife choosing the Limerick Sausage Roll and me the Gaelic Steak. Both choices were just what we wanted... More

Nothing not to like here. I had "ForFar Bridie" and my husband had shepherd's pie. Both were excellent, and came with a salad. We sat by the fireplace, and the service was excellent. We got wine at happy hour prices and it was very good. They deserve the good ratings that they have.

4 of us (adults) had dinner of steaks, oysters, and Mac & Cheese. The bread is awesome. Everything was excellently prepared. Service was very friendly and pretty prompt. House wines were fabulous. Next day 3 of us looked for a lunch place and found our way back to Galway Bay... so glad we did. Breakfast is served from 11 to... More

Great food, great drinks, humidor, large restaurant, comfy chairs by a fire, gift shop, and a HUGE covered, walled "outdoor" patio with comfortable seating and heaters where you can enjoy a cigar with your food an beverage. If I could live close by, I would just have a cot and a storage unit because I would be here most every... More

This is a great restaurant! Went with friends for lunch... Service was great, atmosphere is wonderful, beautiful back bar, and the food was fabulous. We ordered a cheese plate as an appetizer and were in heaven. We each ordered a different dish and were all very happy!

We decided to have dinner here the night we stayed in town. I've been to Irish pubs before and this one ranks right up there. Good food, good ambiance, and friendly staff. Just what we ordered (as well as the Shepherd's Pie and Gaelic Steak). Everything was done to perfection and even the few leftovers were great the next day.... More

Now this is a great restaurant! Not only was the food great but the service, atmosphere and entertainment were all top notch. The place was packed and everyone was just enjoying themselves. The traditional starter of Irish Soda Bread was very good and the rack of lamb is why I know I'll be back!

My favorite part was the gift shop. Beautiful, authentic Irish wares. It was nice that you could wander from the restaurant around to the gift shop, stopping to look at the beautiful photos along the way. Brought back a lot of fond memories. The restaurant was kind of dark and it was sort of hard to read the menu. Am... More

Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a whiskey flight as well as food. The waitress helped "customize" my lunch which I greatly appreciated. She was wonderful and very helpful. The food was good, but would have to say we were hoping for just a little more. I would definitely go back and give Galway Bay another taste.

If you want an authentic Irish experience this is the place. The sausage roll with mashed potatoes is absolutely as good as it gets. The service was top notch. Great place!
