Aw we had the sweetest nicest time at Nanci and Jimilla's. We arrived late into town, they were already closed but the Klipsan Beach Cottages management called them up and asked if we could still come. Sure, if they get here fast! So we figured...More

Stopped for appetizers and drinks. Nanci said we should try her oysters because they are legendary. They were! Sadly, the doors will close May 31. We fervently hope that a new owner will be found that will continue the superb dining tradition. We feel very...More

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile as it looks like a nice place to eat, and I love pasta. I finally talked my husband into taking me here, and what a disappointment. It had nice ambiance, and the staff were very...More

I love the atmosphere here but the prices on the menu are a bit on the high side. Always ask for the special and the price. I've ordered the pork loin with red potatoes, veggies and a wedge salad for 15 dollars. It was a...More

Dessert alone is worth the trip! Again I was served a wonderful meal and the truth is I would drive over just for the dessert tray as it is fabulous and all made in house!

Recommended by locals, nice atmosphere and waitperson, but it go's down from there. THE most expensive place in our whole trip. Tasteless clam chowder, with only a hint of clams. Queen of the Sea Platter ($32)was mostly thick batter, soggy and fell off the seafood....More

I still cannot believe that I really forked over $22 for a little crab cocktail at this place! What on earth was I thinking? $22 for about a few ounces of fresh crab on top of a little shredded lettuce in a dainty cocktail glass!...More

Description
Nanci Main and late Jimella Lucas are two Northwest chefs who have created impeccable food legends and customer loyalty. Their Ark Restaurant and bakery in Nahocotta, Washington gained a national following for 22 years. Nanci and Jimella's Cafe' opened in 2004. The Menu includes classic offerings from The Ark and link memory and flavor. Fisherman deliver fresh catch through the back door, clams and oysters come fresh from Willapa Bay and local suppliers of organic produce and meats confirm their commitment to taste and health. The cocktail lounge serves top shelf handcrafted cocktails and there is a well rounded wine list. The Bakery makes homemade breads and desserts daily. Warm rolls are served at each table. Locally roasted organic coffee fills your cup with wonderful aromas. The intimate dining room has a comfortable bistro atmosphere and sparkles with tiny lights and fresh flowers. Chef Katie Witherbee studied with both Nanci and Jimella as well as the Le Cordon Bleu, Portland. She is a gifted chef in her own right and has built a menu that is both innovative and delicious. "The food is nothing short of outstanding...I would not hesitate to make the gastronomic pilgrimage again. " Mouth of the Columbia, restaurant review.
