I reviewed the Kingston Ale House last year just after they opened, and I recently went back in search of the perfect Hendrick's martini. The Ale House has a new bartender, Ashley, and she made the best Hendrick's martini I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Paired up with the steamed clams in garlic and wine broth with crunchy garlic... More

Have eaten here about 5 times now and have enjoyed every meal. The claims in garlic and wine are excellent - but be sure you love garlic. We love the juice from the claims so much we want to just drink it. Most of the time we share appetizers and really love the beef sliders and skewers. We also like... More

On a busy Sunday evening, there was one wait person and one bartender. The kitchen was fully staffed, and the food was excellent. The wait was very long, and the waiter was inexperienced.

This was our first visit after several ppl recommended it. Unfortunately we don't share the love of this small Kingston stop. Pros: Ashley was attentive, friendly and the best part. We were quickly seated. Mediocre: Food was okay. We had the fish sliders, stuffed mushrooms, lumpia and Caesar salad. Food temp was lukewarm which really disappointed us but not bad... More

This is a pleasant, attractive spot by the ferry. The best part, though, is the food. Well, maybe the service. Actually, both are great. The salmon chowder is worthy of multiple returns. We haven't had anything but delicious food here. Oh, and it feels like family.

Great find in Kingston. Just down the street from the ferry. They have a bar up front and a dining area in the back. Parking lot behind the restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly. The fries were awesome! We played uno (they have games to play while you wait for your food!). A great rainy day stop!

We decided to try Kingston Ale House on our drive back from Edmonds-it is close to the ferry terminal so it was easy to stop in. We were so glad we did. This place is not just an Ale House/bar, but a lovely restaurant in the back with views of the water. We order the fish sliders, crab cakes and... More

On a recent cold Saturday afternoon we decided, spur of the moment to park at the Edmonds waterfront and be ferry walk-ons for the 20-minute crossing to Kingston followed by a short walk to the restaurant. A little past the lunch hour, we opted to sit in the empty bar area. The service was good and the wait staff was... More

Ever since the Kingston Inn burned down , Kingston has lacked a place to go for breakfast . Fortunately, the Kingston Ale House offers breakfast on weekends . The service is first class and the breakfasts are great .

My husband and I call this our special restaurant because it isn’t cheap so we usually go there for special dates. On Friday, I had the prime rib special. It was a nice piece of prime rib (you get a choice of 8 oz or 12 oz), mashed potatoes, and broccolini. The meat came with a small bowl of au... More
